About this venue

Our Hallmark-like, unique rustic venue is a 187 working crop and miniature donkey farm, situated on a rural backroad of Highland County, Ohio. The original side of the barn was built pre 1870 and touts massive hand hewn beams and a vaulted ceiling. The barn features modern amenities including bridal and groom's suites, heat & AC, handicap accessibility, prep kitchen and convenient parking. The property also features a pristine 2.2 acre lake with fountain and a large wedding dock. The venue allows you to chose your own vendors giving you more flexibility. Included in the rental cost is all of our extra decor options - photo ops, ceremony arches, table and centerpiece decor, antique church benches and far more!

From the moment we first inquired about hosting our wedding at The Lake View Loft Wedding Barn, the staff was incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and accommodating to all of our requests. The venue itself was exceptional - the spacious and unique barn setting provided a truly special backdrop for our special day. The venue has so many decorations provided, allowing us to prepare our function without extra costs. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue to bring our wedding vision to life. The Lake View Loft Wedding Barn exceeded our expectations in every way. We later had our baby shower at the venue as well!

I had my graduation party here and it is so beautiful! There is so much room and the entire property is so beautiful. The owners are the nicest people and are so helpful. They are super easy to get ahold of and are great at communicating. The donkeys also stole the show with everyone!

The Lake View Loft Wedding Barn was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the very first interaction, the team there was prompt, courteous, and kind - they went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a unique and convenient layout that allowed our wedding to flow seamlessly. Charlie and Denise were so amazing - they were attentive and helpful every step of the way, from the planning process through the big day and even afterwards. The venue was exactly what I had dreamed of, and exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful to the entire team at Lake View Loft for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.

The Lake View Loft Wedding was an amazing venue for our wedding. Denise and Charlie have the best wedding venue around, even if it isn't for a wedding, no matter what you need the space for. The venue was spacious, perfect and beautiful, they went above and beyond to make our day the best. They weren't just venue owners to us, they became family. You get such an amazing deal for the amount you pay for, and they have a beautiful, amazing closet of decor to choose from, arches, and whatever you need. You can never go wrong with the Lake View Loft! BOOK WITH THEM!

Yes, you provide the alcohol to be served. You do need to chose a bartender from our list of accepted bartenders.

Yes, we have convenient well lit on site parking. We also have handicap parking on the blacktop.

Yes, our facilities are easily accessible for all guests and the ceremony site is feet from the venue.

March through December is peak season - all of our dates are priced the same.

We provide a gorgeous space which already includes beautiful lighting, greenery, twinkle lights throughout, tables (round & rectangular), chairs (white, black, wood), massive selection of table/centerpiece decor, photo props (84 year old truck, antique John Deere tractor, Cinderella carriage, 4' light up marquee LOVE letters, 14 ceremony arbors, donut walls, seating chart wall, greenery wall, pictures with miniature donkeys.

Your reservation includes 15 hours from start to finish on a Friday and/or Saturday.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.

Our venue is located within an hour and thirty minutes from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus airports.

Yes, you will need to acquire liability insurance.

Our pricing is with you doing your own set-up and tear down; however, we do offer set-up and tear down at an added cost.

Yes, with the only exception being the bartender. You are required to chose a bartender from a list we provide. All of your other vendors are your choice.

We do not have an off-peak season.
