We had our wedding at Melhorn Manor and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue offers gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that were very flexible for our event. The staff was so organized and made our wedding day timeline stress-free. They were also very quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the big day and were willing to help in any way. I had the pleasure of using the Corn Crib for a CommunityAid work event and their larger Barn for my daughter's wedding. While I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Strock Enterprises, my guests were also glowing with compliments ranging from the charm of the venues to the exceptional attentiveness of the staff. The team made me feel like I was working with friends. They were incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely dedicated to making sure my vision was captured. The West Shore Country Club is the PERFECT venue for weddings or other events. We had the most perfect wedding day and it was all thanks to this amazing team and of course the coordinator Brittney. She took our dream and made it come to life. The venue was so accommodating, easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire planning process. Brittney was a hero the day of the wedding and made it so stress-free for everyone. They do an excellent job with the food/drink service as well. Beth Valgus, the catering sales manager of the Harrisburg Hilton, flawlessly coordinated my wedding venue. She accommodated all my questions and concerns before, during and after the event. Beth and her team were incredible and always on the ball with questions and concerns and were always there to problem solve with me. Myself and many other guests had multiple food allergies and they were able to manage each one flawlessly. Additionally, due to weather issues and a last minute switch of guests, Beth and her team were able to handle without a problem. I would highly recommend Beth and the Hilton Harrisburg for your wedding and other events!

We had our wedding at Caboose Farm on October 25, 2025, and it was truly the most perfect day. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue was the layout and how relaxed and easy everything felt from the start. We rented five of the houses on the property for the weekend, which allowed our families to stay together in big groups. It made the entire experience feel like a getaway, and having our house right next door to the event space was incredibly convenient. We rented the property for Friday and Saturday, held our rehearsal on Friday, and our wedding on Saturday. We had access to the event barn both days without any issues, which made setting up and settling in stress free. Our ceremony was in the woods, and it felt like something out of a dream. The foliage was beautiful and made for amazing pictures. Guests could walk or take the tractor wagon to the ceremony spot, which everyone loved. We added blankets to the wagon, and guests brought their drinks for a fun ride out. They also recently added a field of wildflowers on the property, and some of my favorite photos were taken there. A golf cart was available to help two of our guests who needed extra support get to and from the ceremony site comfortably. Cocktail hour was outside on the terrace that is connected to the event barn. The hanging lights made it feel romantic and cozy, and guests could step inside if they got chilly. The bar area and theatre room were right inside through a double door, and the theatre room was perfect for playing a slideshow of us. We were also able to have our dogs with us both days, which meant so much. Colby, the property manager, was incredible from start to finish. He made sure we were taken care of and that everything ran smoothly. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the whole weekend feel effortless. Any time a small question or worry came up, Colby stepped in and handled it. I remember talking through whether our caterer needed to pre cut fruit for our specialty cocktails, and he immediately said their bartender could take care of it the night before. He also kept an eye on the weather and checked in with me about moving our rehearsal dinner indoors if needed. Little things like that helped me get through the weekend with so much less stress. The venue provided the ceremony arch, coolers for pre ceremony drinks, all the tables, chairs, linens, and napkins. We had 113 guests, and the indoor reception space fit everyone perfectly without feeling tight or crowded. Everything from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception flowed beautifully. Caboose Farm gave us a wedding weekend we will never forget, and I truly cannot recommend it highly enough.

I honestly can't say enough amazing things about The Antrim 1844 Hotel! We had the most incredible wedding experience here, and I'm so grateful we found this gem. We actually heard about Antrim from a coworker whose family had their wedding there last spring. It wasn't even on our radar before that, but now I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else! During our planning process, we got to see so many different weddings they were hosting, and I was blown away by their unique ability to make everything from small intimate gatherings to expansive celebrations not just work, but work beautifully! They really know how to adapt to each couple's vision. Working with Jill was such a joy! She made the entire planning process feel effortless and actually fun. She was so flexible with all our changes and took the time to walk us through backup plans for weather, which gave us such peace of mind knowing we were covered no matter what. We got lucky with lovely weather and got married in their rose garden, and oh my goodness - it was so breathtakingly gorgeous that we barely needed to add any decorations! The natural beauty spoke for itself and created the most romantic, dreamy backdrop for our vows. Having so many family members and friends traveling to join us, the wedding weekend stay option was a game-changer! The complimentary breakfast for overnight guests was such a thoughtful touch - it meant everyone could wake up together and start each day without any stress about finding food. It really made the whole wedding weekend feel like one big family celebration. The bridal suite in the main mansion was absolutely perfect for getting ready! There was space for our entire wedding party plus my mom and friends to get ready together, and it provided the most beautiful backdrop for photos. We got so many stunning getting-ready shots in that gorgeous space! The food was absolutely delicious - both during our tasting and on the big day! Our guests are still raving about it. The team worked so seamlessly with all our other vendors too, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. We were thrilled about the veterans discount, which let us add some extra special touches like a dessert bar, upgraded appetizers, and shade canopies for the ceremony. They made it so easy to customize everything within our budget. Every single guest has told us what an amazing time they had, and we're already excited to come back for anniversaries! We've heard their holiday decorations are absolutely spectacular, so we're definitely planning a winter visit. If you're looking for a venue that combines stunning natural beauty, incredible service, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect, The Antrim 1844 Hotel is IT. We couldn't have asked for a more magical place to start our life together!

The Manor at Mountain View
Rating: 4.9 (15 reviews)
Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available
  • Provides event staff
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No free parking
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
Awarded Best of Zola
The Manor at Mountain View was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Angelique is an incredible coordinator and helped us the entire process, and day-of? She was amazing. Nothing slipped past her. The venue itself is beautiful and clean and has indoor and outdoor ceremony spots, a bridal and groom suite, and so much more. They are top of the line. The photos were from our first tour, not our wedding to be specific.

Our sister found this place and did a virtual tour and from the very first moment we saw Lauxmont Farms, we knew this place was special, but what we experienced exceeded every expectation we had. The venue is undeniably breathtaking, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and genuinely invested in our day. The decorator went above and beyond in ways I’ll never forget, hanging décor from the tent ceiling and making our vision come to life with such care. Our day-of coordinator, Ally, and our attendant, Brandon, were incredible. They were attentive, calm, thoughtful, and detail oriented in every possible way. From our first visit to our final moments on the property on our wedding day, we felt supported, cared for, and truly celebrated. Lauxmont didn’t just host our wedding, it gave us an experience we will cherish for a lifetime. If I could give more than five stars, I would. 1000/10.

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.
