“We had such an amazing wedding at The Oliver Building. Having the venue for the whole weekend made our weekend run so smoothly. We had our rehearsal Friday night, and brought everything over so we didn’t need to deal with it Saturday. Then got ready in the amazing upstairs suites Saturday morning. We had a great time, and Caitlin was so easy to work with! The only reason I took a star off is that we had some issues with the bar. We made it clear from the start that we wanted to prioritize the bar, and didn’t want long lines. Because of that, they said we would have 3 bartenders, and would batch some of our signature cocktails. Unfortunately, we only had two bartenders, despite giving tips for 3, and there were no cocktails batched. We did have a pretty long line at our bar most of the night because of this. All in all, it was an amazing venue for our wedding!!”

“The Midland is hands down one of the best venues we have worked with from a vendor perspective! First and most importantly, the staff is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Our experience first started out with Kayla. Kayla is the Event Operations Manager at The Midland, of which her title should be “The Jack Of All Trades, Event Mastermind”. Kayla is the most kind, knowledgable, helpful, and organized person you will every meet! She had all of the information when I needed it and had very quick replies to any emails or questions that arose through the planning process. Kayla knew the entire venue inside and out and was incredibly helpful not only during the planning process, but during the wedding as well! The venue itself is absolutely stunning! This venue is one that needs very minimal decor because it is stunning all on it’s own. Can you decorate and have extravagant decor? Absolutely! We heard mentions all night abut the stunning venue!”

Born from a desire to elevate every celebration, The Everly was created by a mother-daughter team whose own journey through wedding planning uncovered a need for a different kind of event space. “My husband and I hosted our wedding at The Everly last weekend and it was perfect! The space itself is gorgeous and hardly needed any decor. What sold us on The Everly was the clever use of curtains when they flip the room between the ceremony and reception. Our guests literally exclaimed when they opened the curtains after the flip. We had a couple over 100 people at the wedding and the way it was organized had it feeling intimate, but with a dance floor that had enough space to move around. My bridesmaids and I got ready at The Everly and it's a beautiful space. There's a curtain behind the doors for privacy and to preserve your grand entrance photos. I coordinated my wedding from the east coast and highly recommend the day of coordination! Ana was excellent, transparent, gave us good recommendations, and was running around behind the scenes so my Project Manager self didn't have to. She also coordinated with my vendors to track arrival times-- the week(s) before is hectic enough. Day-of coordination meant that we didn't have to pick up ourselves and everything was packed and ready immediately the following morning. Everyone says that something WILL go wrong on your wedding day (I forgot my jewelry at the hotel). If there was something else that went wrong, I'm still unaware of it a week later since it was managed behind the scenes and without my involvement. I had complete peace of mind and that's worth everything!”

The space is beautiful, it’s open and customizable in so many ways, the staff were wonderful to work with the entire time we were planning and the day of (and even after), the pricing is reasonable and includes SO much, the list goes on and on. As a bride who DIY’d, didn’t have a planner, and has anxiety, Megan eased so much of my worries with good communication and willingness to help take things off my plate if needed. Megan & team - thank you so much! 10/10 recommend.”

We literally had everything planned in just one visit, and the entire experience was completely stress-free! On our wedding day, everything was absolutely breathtaking and exceeded every expectation I had. What truly stood out was how incredibly attentive, accommodating, and caring they were throughout the entire event. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine dedication to making our day special meant so much to us. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, but Chris and Jacqueline are what truly make it exceptional. We received so many compliments, and I honestly couldn’t imagine having celebrated our wedding anywhere else. It took us 3 years to find the right venue, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! “I had my daughter's wedding at Lake Quivira Country Club, and overall, it was a really great experience. The lakefront setting is beautiful, which definitely added something special to the day. We were able to have the ceremony outside on the Patio, and the view in the background made for some great photos. The event space inside was clean and well set up. It didn’t feel too big or too small for our 200 person wedding - it was just right. The decorations were simple but elegant, and the layout worked well for the reception. The staff was helpful and easy to work with. They stayed on top of things and made sure everything ran smoothly, which took a lot of stress off of us. I appreciated how organized they were, especially with the timeline and food service. Speaking of food, it was delicious and people seemed to enjoy it. Everything came out on time and was warm and well-prepared. If you're considering it as a wedding venue, I’d say it’s worth looking into. The location is really nice, and the event space worked well for what we needed. It felt special in the right ways”

We just covered the food and had our guests get their own drinks on the other side at the bar and it worked out perfect. They let us in early to decorate and hang things as well as bring our own desserts in. Would definitely consider this place again for another event!”
