Lakeside Occasions is a family-owned wedding barn in the heart of northern Indiana's Amish country. Our historic dairy barn was built in the late 1880's and has been in the family ever since! We call it "The Guernsey" in reference to the type of cows that were milked there. The barn is nestled between picturesque farmland on a peaceful lake in a small village known as Emma.

Purdue Fort Wayne offers a variety of spaces for any number of events, large or small. Our ballrooms are the perfect location for weddings, conferences, etc. We have ample parking near our venues as well as being right next door to a large hotel.

Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. As a museum and a historic building, the History Center has a unique character of its own for you and your guests to explore. Travel through time and learn about the history of Allen County and Fort Wayne through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. The History Center has three rooms available to rent, making it the perfect location for any event. The Shields Room is the centerpiece of the museum. It is the former City Council Chamber and Courtroom. Its features include golden oak paneling, a grand chandelier, large windows with expansive city views, and the restored 22-foot ceiling decorated in rich colors and 24kt gold-leaf stencils. You and your guests may ascend the Grand Staircase or use the elevator to reach the room’s second floor entrance. Two smaller rooms, the Board Room and the Orientation Room, are also available to accommodate small gatherings.

The Felt Estate is a historic wedding venue nestled in the dunes along Lake Michigan, between Holland and Saugatuck, Michigan. The expansive estate features the majestic 1920's Felt Mansion, the Rustic Carriage house, and the quaint Chapel at Shore Acres. All around this beautiful architecture are carefully manicured grounds, a grotto, and lush gardens. The Felt Mansion boasts modern amenities, seasonal tents, and optional overnight accommodations. Built in 1871, and restored with love, our event center sits on one countryside acre, just minutes from downtown Kalamazoo. Whether hosting meetings or tea parties, weddings or showers, our intimate one-room schoolhouse is a treasure meant to be shared. The Bellflower is perfect for get togethers of all kinds. We’re hosting showers, intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners, graduation parties and family reunions, and even yoga classes and workshops this year. The best part is, this adventure has just begun. The wedding chapel with chapel bell and windows. The down payment is $1500 cash or check. Rates for 2025/2026 Fridays $4,395 Saturdays $4,995 We are open mid April - mid November.  Closed Sundays. Included 30 handmade Amish tables & chairs, pond w/fountain, outdoor chapel w/church bell, 3 covered porches w/gas fireplace on one, paved parking lot, 2 indoor handicapped bathrooms, & 2 air-conditioned wedding party rooms. We only use The Liquor Cabinet for alcohol. You may bring in your own insured food caterer.
