“I had an excellent experience working with Bloom and Grow Floral Design. Lily is a talented florist while being professional and efficient!! She met my budget and not only was I obsessed with my wedding florals, many of my guests commented on what a great job she did! She did 2 meadows (stunning) bouqets, bud vases, welcome floral and boutonniere. Her natural style is described as Garden Style, many different blooms, but I'm sure she could do any style you would want if you briefed her. My bouquet was pretty from all sides I didn't know which way to hold it, I rotated it throughout the day :) When I sold my floral pedestals on FB even strangers said how beautiful they were from the photos. In my case the florals were modern effortless chic and beautiful- not heavy, dated, formal like other styles can be. I do have a bit of vintage inspiration but mixed with modern and fresh- thanks to Lily helping achieve this! We did have the meadows on the pedestals for a more formal look that I loved as well. Lily listened and met my budget which stood out, since I had other florists waste my time with 30 min calls then sent quotes 2X my clearly-stated budget- they were not listening. Next! She asked great questions in our initial call, like what flowers I DIDN’T like, that stood out as a very smart question. As a designer myself I can be particular too. She was patient, open to email communication throughout, and guided me with her professionalism, even helping me with my candle layout to achieve my goal of a beautiful tablescape! Lily understood the position of the bride in the overall craziness wedding planning process, and reduced stress rather than added to it- again a standout among other vendors. Hi, Holly here! Floral design is simply in my nature. I’ve been sharing my passion for flowers with my hometown of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas since 2016, and have created designs for countless weddings, special events, and celebrations. Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve always felt the most at home outside, in nature, around all the flowers. They bring so much joy and beauty to our everyday moments, and are the living furnishings that frame some of life’s most important celebrations. “When I started my wedding planning process I knew I wanted my florals to be a main decorative part of my wedding. I love flowers, I love floral displays. After reaching out and talking to Holly I was sold. We had a phone call meeting, and I could've spoken to her for an hour as a friend. I bounced all my ideas off of her, even the crazy ones, and she worked along perfectly with it and made it into something so beautiful. I wanted a large display on the willow tree I was getting married in front of, and when I say she went above and beyond doing so, I. WAS. BLOWN. AWAY. (pictured below). Utter perfection. “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. If you have no idea where to start on your wedding florals Leah expertly guides you so that you can have as much or as little involvement as you would like through the entire process.
