“The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. From the initial meeting all the way through to the end of the reception he was a class-act. When I met with Chris to discuss wedding details he was so helpful, from helping me pick all the special songs (I'm terrible at remembering artist names and song names), helping with the wedding timeline to picking out cool special effects. Chris was so much more than just a DJ he helped the entire day flow smoothly. Chris went ABOVE & BEYOND for us!!! Our wedding was unorganized to say the least and without Chris I'm not sure anything would have flowed correctly. When he got to the venue to start setting up he saw how crazy unorganized things were and immediately stepped into action. He helped set up so many things and even put together our ceremony arch... like, come on!!! what other wedding DJ would do so much and never ask for anything in return other than that we have a great time. “We loved having Mehul DJ our wedding! We hired Mehul for both our sangeet and our wedding ceremony / reception. He was very organized and provided suggestions and templates to make sure everyone was clear on what songs should be played at which moments (first dance, cake cutting, entrances, etc.). He did a great job of incorporating songs we / our parents had requested and did a great job of balancing between newer music and songs that got our parent's friends on the dance floor too! He also made sure to find us at the end of our Sangeet and asked if we were happy with the music / if there was anything he could improve on before the wedding the next day - he did great but really appreciated that he did this to make sure we were happy! All of our guests loved it and we had a full dance floor all night, both nights!”
