1. We've been best friends since high school. We're not related and we're not dating (despite the fact that we start almost every sentence with "we") but we are allies of the LGBTQ+ community ✊🏼 2. We're from Florida originally but we currently live in Manhattan in a 2 bedroom apartment in the East Village. 3. We're into fashion, vegetarian food, and astrology. Tessa's a scorpio and Madi's a virgo ✨ 4. The only way we know how to relax is by watching The Bachelor or Love Island. Reality TV is our guilty pleasure 🙈 5. Something very unique to us is that we like to travel and we both have passports so feel free to invite us abroad with you 😉

We both met in attending USF in Tampa and started J&S Media right after graduating! We're extremely easygoing people and love to assist our couples with literally ANYTHING they need. Hi, my name is Jenica! I'm a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. Equipped with a BFA degree in photography and documentary production, a few cameras, and an old station wagon, I drove cross country from Utah to New York City in 2010. I went back to school for my MFA in photography at Hartford Art School and graduated in 2020.

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.
