I first want to say I have worked at this venue a handful of times between both the lodge and the ranch and have had a great experience each time. We've had issues with storage for some vendors and the staff was able to get it handled and assist us pretty quickly. I've loved coordinating at this venue because everything is set up and the staff helps right away the day of. Security is very pleasant to work with as well and they go above and beyond at night. I believe a lot of their services are done in house now and the times I have met their DJ and catering, they're professional. The morning staff does a great job at making sure we know who they are and they check on us throughout. Just want to post this review because reviews from vendors are rare and if you are a bride planning on booking here, as a vendor, they are truly great to work with!

We had a traditional Nigerian ceremony and our vow exchange on the same day…essentially 2 ceremonies which involved many moving parts and a busy day of schedule. It was absolutely the best day, the entire staff was very helpful and tended to every single detail. The meetings leading up to the wedding were very thorough which made it very easy to enjoy our wedding without any hassle. The wedding package made planning so easy, the venue was beautiful, and most importantly we had the most amazing time! Thank you so much Melissa for pulling everything together and Mariah for handling all the day off matters!

Knotting Hill Place
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Little Elm, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

Knotting Hill Place has the perfect indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. So many couples love the idea of a beautiful outdoor wedding but what happens if the Texas weather does not cooperate? At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. Complete with a TV screen that can watch the cameras of the rest of the venue, private lockers for the bridesmaids personal items, great lighting and salon style chairs and so on. Let's not forget both bridal and grooms suite have built in blue tooth!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Dressing room available
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Requires outside catering services
  • Does not allow pets
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Knotting Hill Place was truly our dream wedding venue. Timeless, elegant, and absolutely magical, it exceeded our expectations in every way and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. For years before getting engaged, I had driven past Knotting Hill Place and wondered if it was as grand and stunning on the inside as it appeared from the outside. The moment we stepped inside for our tour, all doubts disappeared. Every corner of the venue is intentionally and thoughtfully designed, making it breathtaking both in person and in photos. It is stunning yet warm and inviting, with a timeless elegance that feels like a French château fit for a princess. Even our very first tour, which took place in pouring rain, felt incredibly magical. One of the things we loved most is how much the venue includes and how beautiful it is on its own. While there are wonderful additional rental options, the space truly doesn’t need much to feel complete. Having a stunning indoor setting was especially important to my husband and me, as we wanted both our ceremony and reception indoors due to unpredictable Texas weather. Every time we returned to the venue, it felt just as special and awe-inspiring as the first visit. The bridal suites are incredible. They are spacious, luxurious, and comfortable, making them the perfect place to spend the day getting ready with my bridesmaids while feeling relaxed and pampered. Knotting Hill Place also hosts seasonal vendor events for couples, which we attended multiple times before our wedding. These events were such a gift during the planning process, allowing us to see the space styled in different ways, explore vendor options, and watch our vision slowly come to life. The entire Knotting Hill Place team was warm, welcoming, and supportive throughout the planning process. They were always responsive, helpful, and available to offer guidance. We also chose to work with the venue’s month-of coordinator, which was one of the best decisions we made. Our coordinator, Megan, was absolutely amazing. She took so much stress off our shoulders in the final month and ensured everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. Thanks to her, we were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment. We also highly recommend some of the venue’s add-ons, especially the custom dance floor, which tied our reception space together and made it feel so personal. The bubble machine was another standout. It added a fun, unique, and magical touch to our first dance and kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. Our guests absolutely loved it. Knotting Hill Place gave us the wedding day of our dreams, and we are so grateful for the memories we made there. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly.

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates.
