We first met on a virtual trial where I felt understood, comfortable and confident in the services to come. She nailed my vision perfectly — soft, glowy, and natural but still totally glam. She provided skin prep and a mini touch up kit for the bride (that ultimately wasn't even needed for the entire day!). .Brittany was also receptive to feedback and easy to work with even when I changed my hairstyle from my trial to something else. We were able to last minute pin extra florals into my hair that matched the other florals used in the wedding and even though the curls fell due to the humidity everything else stayed in place. Even when we switched my veils a couple times for photos! The entire team communicated clearly and promptly for scheduling trials and making sure every detail was noted to recreate the trials on the big day!”

“Working with The Bridal Beauty Team was nothing short of extraordinary. I booked with them somewhat far out from my wedding, but my call with Kate, the owner, as a consultation was a match right off the bat. She got to know me as a human not just a bride, and took great care in my vision for my day. Gina, whom I sincerely apologized to for all of my questions and emails (lol) was SO incredibly kind and patient and made any updates to our contract or services any time I asked! Now, onto the artists: I had my trial with Jeannette, who made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, I knew we were a good match! I felt confident with her as lead artist! On the day of, Jeannette, Myriam, Jenna, Lorena and Rene all exceeded any and all expectations. There were a total of 30 (I think) services being performed and I have never seen such a “well oiled machine” of hair and makeup before. They took time and care for each service but also moved so quickly that they were finished early. We didn’t have to start at 6am with that many people, which honestly, was a huge concern. Everyone felt and looked STUNNING and I truly could not stop staring at myself after my hair and makeup were finished. Haven’t gotten all of our professional photos back, so including what I can! Including a before photo, an after selfie, an iPhone photo at the end of the night & one of my professional photos from afar so you can see how glowy and dewy she made me look!”

I was experiencing a major lack of communication from my previous makeup/hair artist which resulted in myself being an incredibly anxious bride! Within 24 hours of first messaging Erica (the owner), she met with me in person to discuss my vision, and got a makeup/hair trial scheduled. She even ordered and expedited matching hair extensions so that I could wear my dream style in time for my wedding! Erica did my makeup and SJ styled my hair; both looks lasted all night long and I truly felt like a princess. I received compliments such as, "stunning" and "breathtaking". Rachelle also helped with hair/makeup for my bridesmaids and their appearances held up just as nicely. “Brides, look no further!! Lauryn is truly the best of the best in the industry. She far exceeded my bridal makeup expectations and made me feel prettier than I ever have in my life. My bridesmaids and mom all looked flawless, and everyone's makeup stayed fresh all night long. I’ve worked with multiple talented Chicagoland makeup artists in the past as a bridesmaid, and while I’ve always been satisfied with their work, I can tell Lauryn’s skillset is top-notch. I was hesitant walking into my trial at first because I wasn't sure exactly what sort of look I wanted to go with, but Lauryn immediately put me at ease as she confidently guided me through my thoughts and decisions without overwhelming me with too many questions or choices. I really love that she runs her trials solo and in a casual, personal setting (just Lauryn and the bride, no guests) because it shows how much she cares about YOU and how YOU(!!) feel without being influenced by your environment or others’ opinions/preferences. Lauryn was communicative and organized throughout the whole process from my initial booking inquiry to my wedding day and everything in between. All of my questions were always answered thoroughly and quickly. Lauryn always arrived on time and stayed on schedule.
