The space was timeless and classy, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. Our best man wasn’t able to attend due to deployment and the co-best man coordinated a video to play during the speech, the process day of was seamless and we are thankful he was able to say some words on our wedding day! “The Drexelbrook did an excellent job hosting our baby shower. Their buffet and dessert bar options were delicious and plentiful. They took good care of our guests who needed vegan, gluten-free options or a kid's meal. One of the highlights of our celebration was a "make your own bouquet" bar for guests. It was an option that Drexelbrook suggested, based on our shower theme. They worked with us to ensure that we could decorate and arrange the space to meet the needs of our event. There is plenty of free parking on site.”

“2 years ago, when Jim and I decided to get married… the only thing we were sure of was, that it needed to be a celebration. It needed to be a time of recognition of friends and family and some difficult time we had come through….so the perfect venue, needed to be…. A castle! Finding a castle in Delco, proved to be harder than we expected…..But after we did a little research we decided on The Old Mill. We are so very happy we did…. It might not be a castle, but it is a fairy tale…. Our wedding was so much more magical than it being in any castle. From the moment we met the staff, everyone was so nice….the setting is beautiful and warm and welcoming. It was everything we wanted and so much more. And the food…. 3 weeks after the wedding and all our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! I would recommend The Old Mill…. For any event… don’t just take my word for it… go and check it out.”

“"We had our ceremony and reception at The Ardmore Music Hall July 2017 and would choose it all over again! Our guests rave to us still that it was the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "”

“I was so excited when I found this venue and the experience did not disappoint. I definitely underestimated the time and stress involved in planning a wedding, but Peachtree Catering makes it so easy. You met our designated Peachtree coordinator at our menu tasting and that kicked off all the detail start work: food and drink options, color schemes, linens, etc. and they will work directly with your additional vendors (DJ, florist, etc.). Everything is really organized and easy, from digital look books, to table setting mock-ups, all of the little details were already thought of, we just needed to make selections based on our personal style. I can't emphasize enough how awesome the staff is - the day went perfectly, the food was fantastic, the table settings and service were perfect, I can't think of any detail that was overlooked! Our day of rockstars were Ashley and George who made sure we were fed, got to taste every appetizer, and I don't think there was an empty water or wine glass all night!”

“My husband and I had our wedding at the Penn Museum last weekend, and we truly cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we started looking at venues, we knew we wanted a museum setting, and the Penn Museum far exceeded every other option we saw. The grand, ornate architecture and the incredible exhibits won us over instantly. We loved that both the outdoor ceremony space and the indoor backup option were equally stunning. Regardless of weather conditions, we knew we’d be happy. The versatility of the venue was another huge plus, with so many beautiful rooms to choose from for each part of the celebration (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). Once the museum closes to the public at 5 PM, it essentially becomes yours for the evening. Almost all exhibits are open for guests to explore. Some of our favorite aspects of the venue were our outdoor ceremony in Warden Garden, which allowed for a dramatic processional through the grand brown doors, and cocktail hour in the breathtaking Chinese Rotunda. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the uniqueness of the venue, the outstanding food, and the warmth of the entire staff. I do highly recommend having a day-of coordinator to assist if you choose Penn Museum, given that it is primarily a museum and that created some added complexities for logistics.”

“I wanted to throw a party for my work friends with only a few weeks notice. I wanted a low-key weekend event, where people could bring dogs and kids and still have a nice time. Like a backyard barbecue without the hassle of cooking and cleaning (for someone who doesn’t have a yard!) Cira Green was able to accommodate us with very little fuss. A couple emails back-and-forth and I had exactly what I wanted, they have lots of different food and drink options and I was able to pick what we needed. Good food, nice drinks, a beautiful view and the tent insured everyone would be comfortable rain or shine.”

“Choosing Appleford for our wedding was hands down one of the best choices we made in wedding planning. From the first tour Lisa made the experience as easy and stress free as possible. Their recommended vendors and partnered caters were great, and the open houses they held made selection smooth and gave us peace of mind knowing we were making informed decisions. One reason we loved Appleford was knowing they had a good rain plan - unfortunately, we did have to use this rain plan for some of our day so we were so incredibly grateful that the inside of the estate was stunning and ready for indoor use when the time came. The onsite coordinator was helpful in every respect and helped with everything including wardrobe malfunctions for the mother of the bride (helping to sew her dress when it was needed)! Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was which was obvious from the moment you step on the property. We cannot recommend Appleford enough and are so incredibly grateful that we chose them for our wedding day!”

“We held our September 2025 wedding reception at The Rittenhouse. The food was excellent, the space looked beautiful, and the service on the wedding day was wonderful. Our dedicated server was spectacular both during our tasting and at the reception—attentive, warm, and one of the true standouts of our experience. The planning process was more challenging. Even after Jarret and I specifically asked to be included directly in decisions, communication often continued through our planner. This was especially frustrating because our planner was not providing the level of attentiveness promised, making direct communication with the venue even more important. We were also supposed to meet with the pastry team, but that meeting never happened. Although the cake tasted good, its appearance fell short of what we envisioned and felt like an afterthought in the overall design. After the wedding, aside from a congratulatory email that included our paid folios, no one meaningfully followed up to ask about our experience or invite feedback. Given the level of the event and The Rittenhouse’s reputation for luxury hospitality, we found that surprising. Overall, the culinary and banquet teams delivered an excellent reception, and our guests were very well cared for. We are grateful for the beautiful celebration, while believing the communication, pastry-design process, and post-event follow-up could have been much stronger.”

“We love the FI, my husband and I both have amazing childhood memories running around their exhibits. As a wedding venue it was even more amazing! Pepper Hall with candlelit mood and florals added was like a soft classic library from a fairytale, our ceremony in that room felt magical. Our guests loved running through the exhibits during our happy hour, the little ones invited were playing in there most of the night. Last but not least our Franklin Hall reception was breathtaking and so much fun! Tara and the FI team made communication and planning a breeze. Tara especially was the greatest reference for any questions or worries we had. She was positive, so responsive, and had solutions and advice for everything! We are so obsessed with our choice of venue and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a really unique and special venue!”
