Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

Livingston, NJ

While the restored building has since been reincarnated as one of the leading wedding and event spaces in the tri-state area, it still maintains the feeling of its 19th century grandeur. Our impeccable, white-glove service begins the moment you arrive. Crystal Plaza hosts only one event at a time, ensuring that our dedicated team focuses singularly on you and your every need. From the elegant Grand Ballroom boasting numerous chandeliers (how the Crystal Plaza name came to be) to the lush gardens that change beautifully with the seasons, there are myriad backdrops to complement your wedding, social affair or corporate event.

I originally envisioned a sleek, modern venue, but Crystal Plaza completely changed my mind from the moment we walked in. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were immediately apparent. We had heard amazing things from friends, and after experiencing it ourselves, it was an easy yes. The entire team was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process and on the day of. Iris was with us from our first tour through the wedding day — always available, supportive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The food was unforgettable (our guests are still texting us about it!), and our maitre’d, Mikhail, along with our bridal and groom attendants, G and Liza, were so thoughtful and on top of every detail. Truly can’t recommend Crystal Plaza enough.

Our wedding day felt absolutely perfect, and this venue played such a huge role in making it unforgettable. One of the things we loved most is how versatile the space is. The venue offers two distinct atmospheres, which made it feel completely unique and customizable. The classic ballroom is elegant, timeless, and beautifully designed—perfect for a romantic and refined reception. Then there’s the rustic cocktail hour space, which adds so much charm and warmth with its cozy, inviting vibe. What’s even more amazing is that you can flip the experience depending on your vision, whether you want a more rustic ceremony and cocktail hour followed by a formal ballroom reception, or the reverse. It really gives couples the freedom to create a wedding that feels true to their style, and our guests loved experiencing both settings throughout the night. Beyond the space itself, everything was executed flawlessly. The staff was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day special. We had the opportunity & pleasure to work with Nicole & Michelle (Event Planners), Frank (maître d') & Amalia (Bridal Attendant) who made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which meant we could fully enjoy every moment. If you’re looking for a venue that offers both elegance and rustic charm in one place and the flexibility to make it your own this is it. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Thank you sooo much Stone House at Stirling Ridge for making our day everything we hoped it would be!

If you’re looking for a stress free wedding, look no further. I can rave about our wedding forever, our event planner Alessandra Moss helped us every step of the way. Our guests enjoyed the heavenly cocktail hour and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Day of coordinator Jennifer was attentive and took care of all my bridal needs. We highly recommend booking Nicotras Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn for your wedding venue, we had a lot of guests traveling and it was easy for our guests to stay in the hotel. We shared our first look on the beautiful property, there are endless options for photo ops. We were able to take many photos and video inside and outside the venue. The ceremony took place outside on the Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect. Alessandra met with us regularly in person and was easily accessible via email. She walked us through the wedding planning and guided us on the next steps of the process. It was a great relief that the venue took care of a lot of the details, and we used one of their vendors Red Carpet Events for decor/flowers and they were fantastic.

Our wedding on May 2nd at Grand Oaks Country Club was truly beyond anything we could have ever imagined and was easily one of the best days of our lives! From the very beginning, Margaret was incredible. She answered every single one of my (many) questions with patience and care, making the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of, and that level of attention carried through to the wedding day itself. Everything ran flawlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment with our friends and family. One of the most exciting surprises was the venue's recent renovations. We originally booked without knowing about them, and we were blown away when we saw the updates (especially the stunning new floor to ceiling windows) in the main ballroom, which made the space feel even more elegant and bright. The food deserves its own spotlight. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was! From cocktail hour to dessert, every detail was executed perfectly. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous as well, and our photos came out stunning. You would never even guess you're on Staten Island. We truly wish we could relive the day all over again. We got married at The Mansion on Aug 10th and there are insufficient characters in this review box to capture our gratitude for what an impeccable place this was to get married. We initially chose the venue for ease of the location (we live a few blocks away). I hoped the food would be good, since we couldn't do a tasting, and just trusted it would all work out. THESE PEOPLE BLEW ME AWAY. The staff is awesome, from the Matre D, to the Bridal Attendant, to all the ways Jim and Nancy helped us tend to ever detail of the event, it was the most perfect day. The food was so delicious. Our guests are still talking to us about it weeks later. The cocktail hour was incredible. The main course was the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh, and so delicious. My only regret of my wedding was that I didn't eat more than just a few bites of everything. I woke up the next morning craving the rest of my filet mignon, lol. We went with the "minimum" of everything included because we were on a budget, but it was all so abundant, generous and tasty. Even the dessert platters that came with the meal were amazingly delicious. The space itself is luxurious and beautiful. We had the whole venue to ourselves and the whole thing was just magical.

We had our wedding at The One & Only Westmount Country Club in early November 2025. It was a perfect venue! The staff were amazing, and the site was impeccable. From the moment we toured the Westmount it was pretty clear it would be perfect for us. We wanted to do the wedding on-site in the garden off the Continental Ballroom. Karen worked with us to make everything perfect and coordinated every detail according to our vision for the day. Since the wedding, we have heard nothing but praise and compliments from our guests. Multiple people have told us they have never had such good food at a wedding, and the dessert extravaganza (only word to describe it) was second to none. From the welcome drinks and snacks, to the cocktail hour, to dinner service and dessert, our guests cannot stop raving about the food and service. The outdoor venue with twinkle lights in the trees, up lighting, a fountain next to the gazebo, and the picturesque garden gate was the entire aesthetic we wanted. We highly recommend The One & Only Westmount Country Club. The staff, the venue, the food, and the suggested vendors all made for a dream wedding and magical night. We had our wedding at Liberty House, and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. From start to finish, the experience was beyond anything we could have imagined — even with a last-minute weather shift that could’ve thrown everything off. It rained on our wedding day, which meant our outdoor ceremony had to be moved. The Liberty House team transitioned the ceremony into the reception room so quickly and beautifully that it felt like it had been the plan all along. It was seamless, elegant, and still carried all the magic we had dreamed of. Danielle Villa was our planner and honestly, we can’t say enough about her. She was incredible — professional, calming, and truly dedicated to making our day unforgettable. She made herself available on weekends, late nights, and any time we needed a call or check-in. We trusted her completely with one of the most important days of our lives, and she outdid herself in every way possible. Danielle didn’t just help us plan a wedding — she ran the show with grace and precision. Gabby, our day-of assistant, was also a total rockstar. My partner and I didn’t even have a chance to think about a drink or a bite to eat — she made sure we were always taken care of, without us even realizing how much she was doing behind the scenes. Every little detail, every moment, Gabby was right there, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring we were comfortable and stress-free. The staff overall was phenomenal — warm, attentive, and professional. The view was absolutely insane (you just can’t beat that NYC skyline backdrop), and the food… wow. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still raving about it. We genuinely can’t thank Liberty House enough for making our wedding the most beautiful, stress-free, and special day of our lives. If you’re considering having your wedding there — do it. You will be in the absolute best hands.

We knew we wanted to host our wedding in Jersey City so our guests could enjoy the skyline and the water views. After viewing multiple venues, we landed on Maritime Parc for 7/20/24 and it was the best decision we made. Our wedding planning ran smoothly because we worked with Maritime’s team. Working with Priscila, the sales manager, was like working with family. She was available whenever I needed her which made getting answers to questions quick and easy. She went above and beyond her role. This venue offers a classy food tasting and cake tasting at their restaurant. Even though they host weddings every weekend, they made us feel that ours was very special and important. We appreciated working with Alexis on our timelines and floor-plan. She was very organized and thought of all the little things that we never would have!! Our day of Captains and Bridal Attendant, Marc, Rita and Patricia were the best!! Always there when we needed them and so so kind. My family members raved about their helpfulness. The entire staff at Maritime (servers, bartenders, valet, etc) were professional and attentive. It is rare to have such good and consistent service at a wedding. Lastly… the FOOD. What other wedding venue serves Scallops over braised short ribs?? None! Choose Maritime for a stress free wedding year!

Our guests and we had a wonderful experience at Le District at our wedding in May 2022. Since our family abroad couldn't make it to the wedding, we were only looking for a space to host a dinner for our 50 or so friends and we thought about Liberty Bistro in Le District since we used to live in the BPC area and had brunch there and we thought the interior design was beautiful and the size of the place fit our needs perfectly. The location is just perfect by the waterfront with an amazing river view and there is also an oval lawn right outside in which we thought about doing the ceremony but unfortunately, we eventually had to do it at Belvedere Plaza 200 feet away since it just so happened that the lawn was closed for maintenance that day. The Liberty Bistro restaurant was able to book out the entire indoor dining space for us without venue fees provided that we meet a spending minimum on food and wine. We had a great experience nailing down the food and drink menu with them - the restaurant had great options and communications were effortless. We were able to bring our own flowers and balloons and our friends DIY'ed the decorations though there wasn't too much to decorate since the space already looked nice and sweet. We also had our own seating plan which involved moving the tables and chairs and Le District was able to help us with it too, apart from the booths which cannot be physically moved. The night went smoothly; we were able to hook up an iPad to the sound system and play our own hand-picked wedding playlist; The guests enjoyed a 3-course prix-fixe menu (with additional vegetarian options); we also did our first dance under the beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At the end of the night, when we net out a few hundred under the min. spend, the restaurant was able to throw in a couple of champagne bottles for us to take home. We wish we could share photos of that wonderful evening to show how great it was and we really appreciate Le District for the great food and drinks, service, and communications, and just for being the place where it all happened.
