The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena began in 1899 when a group of business and professional women, teachers, writers, homemakers, and world travelers wanted to be involved in the community. Originally known as the Women's Improvement Association, the group raised funds to beautify the city and joined a nationwide movement of local women's clubs. After numerous meetings in various locations, the group finally raised funds to build their own Clubhouse in 1913. Today this amazing building is on the City of South Pasadena’s Cultural Heritage inventory and provides a local event venue for Club members and members of the public alike.

Built in 1906, The Huron Substation is a stunning historical landmark originally used to serve downtown’s Yellow Car streetcar system. Kawada Hotel has approximately 690 square feet of meeting room space. From a small meeting, birthday, party, or any other event we are ready to host you. There are two conference rooms A (420 square feet) and B (270 square feet) that can be combined for a total of 690 square feet and a boardroom (230 square feet) located on the mezzanine that can meet your various needs. Conference A and B has a Sony State of the Art 85" smart TV. Catering is available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a fish and oyster company, an ice cream factory, and a commercial site for everything from far east imports to marijuana cultivation. This quirky history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.
