Petya Ivanova (String Heart) is a Bulgarian-American violinist. She plays classical violin (acoustic) and electric violin at live events, primarily seeking gigs in the tri-state area (NJ/PA/NY). She specializes in weddings and corporate events, and she performs weekly on her church's worship team. Petya loves to perform for a live audience where she can play from her heart and connect with the audience. She has arranged flexible set lists for different types of events and is willing to guide her clients through the selection of the right music for their special occasion.

I studied with a principal cellist of the Rochester Philharmonic. I am well versed in music other than classical, and am well versed in many different styles. Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.
