We had a very specific vision for the colors, types of flowers, and foliage for a grounded floral arch, cascading bouquet, and bud vases for our reception tables. Leading up to the wedding, Cory was incredibly communicative; calling us to discuss different ideas for our grounded floral arch, the seasonal availability of certain plants, and making sure that everything was just the way we wanted it. In our planning, she invited us to tour her gardens and greenhouse, where it was clear that she has a deep personal care for the quality of her work and her relationships with clients. On the day of the wedding, she was on-time and had all of our displays, vases, and bouquets assembled, and installed them discreetly and beautifully. All of the plants that she used were extremely fresh and lasted our entire 8 hour outdoor summer wedding! “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. Everyone was raving about them, and two months later, I still go through all my pictures and daydream about how beautiful my arrangements and bouquets were. She was collaborative throughout the process and easy to communicate with. At our wedding rehearsal, I realized I forgot to order extra flowers to serve as our offering to Mary at our Catholic wedding. I texted Jenna and she graciously made up an extra bouquet for the church. I am so thankful for her going above and beyond to do that for me last minute. The flowers themselves were GORGEOUS. From the moment we first spoke, their communication was quick, attentive and responsive, putting our minds at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was truly amazing - the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and toss bouquet they created were all high quality and absolutely beautiful. They brought my visions to life perfectly. We planned for a galaxy theme and she even was able to create flowers that went perfectly with the theme! I had requested no greenery and she made sure to use lavenders and blues as fillers instead! She listened to everything and took the time to really put together an amazing set for my special day! Such a sweet and talented team to work with, they made the entire experience wonderful. I cannot recommend 1824 Farmhouse Creations highly enough!”

“10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a brilliant, hardworking, passionate, and creative florist. We met with Sarah throughout our planning process and she worked with us and our planner to understand and bring our vision to life. She clearly understood the assignment. Every detail was perfect. Everything she created was unique and matched exactly what we were looking for. By growing her own flowers, she has an intimate understanding of what will work best. She created an incredible arch out of branches and flowers, aisle meadows that got repurposed to center pieces, and a variety of centerpieces for our 21 tables. Each table had its own, unique look - some with raised meadows, some with a mix of candles and bud vases, and some with a vase of flowers and candles. Our head table had 28 people, and she made each place setting feel special. She works hard to be as sustainable as possible, sourcing and thrifting vessels from local shops and vendors, and drying and reusing flowers when possible. Everything she created was beautiful, including a big fall bouquet. She also created a totally custom ceiling installation that hung over the dance floor - an absolute show stopper that all of our guests loved, and that the venue thinks will inspire some of their future events. Cannot recommend Highland Springs Floral highly enough.”

In May of 2015, when I got married, we only had a week long engagement, so we collected bridal veil and lily of the valley from our gardens, and my mother cut lilacs from my grandmother's shrub. Every year, on our anniversary, our table is graced with the same flowers that I carried on my wedding day, and I have been enamored with the local flower movement ever since. We grow our flowers in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse, regenerative and naturally maintained. We design each arrangement in the spirit of mother nature; honored, collected and arranged by an artists' hand. We use sustainable techniques and no foam.
