Prior to working in the local wedding industry, Hannah was a floral designer and estate garden preservationist in the Richmond VA area where she learned her signature Gardenesque Style of floral design.

I am a Farmer Florist in Asheville, NC. I am a natural floral designer with a Farmy Chic twist, born from a woodland foundation and a deep love of the transformative magic of flowers. I grow edible flowers, herbs and flowers naturally for local restaurants, bars, weddings and events. My unique floral designs always reflect what is in season, and can include dried flowers I have grown the previous seasons. My floral creations reflect my passion for medicinal, edible and the wildlife beneficial qualities of plants. Choy, a native of South Korea, grew up in downtown Pussan. Her extensive, almost 30 year, history of study entails numerous reputable schools of design, including the Ikebana school, and the Hana art school. She recently attended the North Carolina Certified Professional Florists Program in Southern Pines before opening her shop in 2003. Education, in combination with her desire to stay current with trends in the floral industry are what set her apart. Choy is a former member in the Blue Ridge Chapter of Ikebana, the Ikebana International of Asheville, and is a former member of NC State Florist Association.
