“I cannot say enough about Veneer Media. They did the videography for our wedding and reception on August 29, 2020. We were originally not going to have videographers; however, with the sudden passing of my Dad back in July 2020, we decided that it would be nice to have a video of loved ones enjoying our day. I contacted Veneer with THREE WEEKS to go until our wedding. I knew their name from the recommendation of my photographer. Just like many weddings in 2020, I had no idea what was going on. My 1st venue was closed. I had to move everything to either another venue or at the last possible option, my backyard. They were extremely professional and flexible in any change in plans that were about to happen. I met with them via video chat to discuss what my vision was for the day and then a second time to discuss my timeline. We also discussed important events of the day that I definitely wanted in the video. I found them to be very organized, friendly, communicative, and they work with your vision. As for the actual video, we received a 1 minute teaser a few weeks after the wedding, and then a full highlight video following after a few weeks. I can tell that they are extremely dedicated to their craft. Everything from the scenes from the day, to the music, to the lyrics of the song - they are all carefully and meticulously put together. As someone with a deep arts background growing up, I appreciate the musicality and moving the scenes to the beat of the music, as opposed to just showing scene after scene. They also "hook" into the lyrics so that they are telling a story to the viewer. They captured our day and our personalities perfectly. To be honest, I was worried that having a video of the day would be "cheesy" or "not us", but Veneer was able to incorporate not only scenes that were sentimental and emotional, but funny and goofy as well.
