There were also little touches throughout the event that showed they genuinely cared about the experience and weren’t just there to provide food and leave. That type of hospitality is hard to find. I forgot about an aunt who had a gluten allergy and emailed Craig just hours before the wedding, and he was able to make a separate plate at very late notice. We’re still hearing compliments about the meal and the grazing table! Such a showstopper and crowd favorite. Craig did so much work and made everything seamless, and we’re so glad we chose them. On our wedding day, she was the one vendor who was fully calm, centered, and confident, an incredibly grounding presence for everyone. We had six meals with her, from the welcome dinner to brunches, reception, and an unforgettable late-night spread. She handled everything; shopping, cooking, cleanup and made us feel deeply cared for as a family during our long wedding weekend on Figure Eight Island, NC. Aside from cooking, which she obviously loves, she said her favorite part of her business is helping people make the most of their time together, and that was absolutely true for us. It felt like we bought the gift of time, which is priceless. And we can’t stop talking about the food. Literally better than any restaurant, truly.
