We offer an entirely custom experience for our couples, from different sweets, to flavors and designs. We can also offer nearly everything in a variety of allergen-friendly options, including gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, organic, and refined sugar free! Paints & Pans is a custom cake shop specializing in cakes and cupcakes for occasions. Wedding consultations can be scheduled in advance and are held Fridays and Saturdays. The shop is located in Kittery, Maine and deliveries can be made within a 45 minute radius at $1/mile round trip.

Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. Shauna and her husband and partner Bob have been trained by an expert baristas at Atomic Coffee Roasters and are proud to serve drinks brewed with their beans. All our espresso drinks are made with our gorgeous Italian made La Marzocco machine.

CHIC is a culmination of my retail, styling, and design background. Truthfully, the idea of this little biz was created while on lockdown during the pandemic, a little unorthodox I know, but I was determined. I identified this gap in the market the summer prior... after struggling to find a pretty dessert cart for an event at my client's new business launch. Viola! CHIC cotton candy was born, serving the cosmopolitan Boston market; giving a traditional childhood treat-- a chic upgrade. Wherever the party is, we want to be there for you! xo
