My Friend’s Bakery is a custom cake and dessert studio creating a variety of baked goods from tiered cakes, to cupcakes, and dessert tables. I have 10+ years experience in the industry with a degree in baking and pastry arts from Johnson & Wales University.

Everything we make at My Friend’s Bakery is made from scratch. I like to be creative and use different flavors and designs based on things like the clients likes, style, the season, etc. I have a small bakery kitchen catering to only 2-3 weddings a weekend to ensure that quality and care to each and every client.

    Wonderful Bakery

    My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with My Friend's Bakery for our wedding. They were so easy to talk to and very willing to work with us on customizing our cake and desserts. The flavors they offered were unique and absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the cupcakes! Our wedding cake was perfect. The decorations were exactly as we had asked for and the cake stand rentals they provided worked beautifully with the style of our venue. My Friend's Bakery showed up on time and had everything set up seamlessly. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and value of their work, and we highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

    We loved working with Lara for our wedding in June! We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful and delicious wedding cake. We really enjoyed the tasting experience and were able to pick our three favorite flavor combinations for our main cake and two sheet cakes. We’d highly recommend Lara and her team!

    Perfect Wedding Pies!!

    I found Lara through Zola because I really wanted to have mini pies at my wedding instead of cake. I wanted five different flavors and for them for be the perfect 2in size so people could try multiple flavors and My Friend’s Bakery checked every box! They were the most affordably priced bakery I had found and were so easy to communicate with on what I needed. The pies were a HUGE hit!!! They were delicious! Everyone was most impressed with the lemon meringue but we also had chocolate cream, apple, mixed berry, and strawberry rhubarb. She even added little heart crusts to tops of the berry and rhubarb ones! She was even able to make a small batch of gluten free pies because I had a few celiac guests. She delivered them right to our venue and overall we had an amazing experience!

    Beautiful & Delicious

    Lara was quick to respond and easy to work with. The final result was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Lara listened to what we wanted and it came out perfectly. We would highly recommend them!

    Exactly what we were looking for

    We knew we were booking Lara for our cake as soon as we met her for our tasting. She is so easy to work with, went above and beyond to help us, and made our cake exactly the way we wanted it for our white and gold theme. The flavors are incredible (the chocolate reminded me of my family’s favorite homemade recipe), and the cake itself looked stunning. Look no further- highly recommend!
