Choosing Flora as our venue was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We initially had viewed other downtown San Diego locations and just happened to find them and get them on the schedule, and it was absolutely the right decision. Full disclosure up front, they do have a relatively strict contract regarding the rules and regulations of the venue. With that being said, their team was incredibly open and responsive in having conversations about the contract, and personalized it when we identified some very specific circumstances as it related to us. Due to a smaller guest count we were owed money after the wedding, and we received the check in the mail, along with the security deposit, two days after the event had taken place which was a great weight off our shoulders. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The live foliage indoors with the skylights immediately sold us as soon as we entered the building. The floor layout is perfect for small to mid-sized guest counts, with ours seating 80 people perfectly. With the gorgeous tables, chairs, and other décor housed on-site it makes planning rentals and decorations that much easier not needing to deal with outside vendors. The staff could not have been more professional if we had asked. Katherine, Jameson, Erin, and the rest of their team were consistently responsive in the planning and execution of the wedding, constantly providing feedback and information when it was required. We had a handful of elderly/handicapped guests, and Jameson personally went to each and every one of them throughout the night to ensure that if there was anything they needed it would be taken care of. Especially on the day-of the wedding, Jameson was absolutely exceptional along with the bar staff in ensuring that transitions went smoothly and the guests had a great experience. He was always available for a phone call or email, and worked with us directly in problem solving and brainstorming ideas to make our day as special as possible. There have been countless guests who have given us feedback on how great the bar service was, which we could not have been happier with. All-in-all, Flora was an incredible venue to host our special day. We cannot give their team and the location better recommendations for couples looking to have a downtown San Diego wedding.

We loved having our wedding reception at the museum! It was a unique venue, bright, and spacious. It’s an experience we (and our guests) still talk about almost 6 years later. It was a stress free wedding as Jenny (venue coordinator) was so easy to work with and very helpful in coordinating with all of our vendors and day of wedding coordinator. The museum has an approved list of vendors, and made suggestions that made the night even more special (like keeping the dinosaur skeleton out during the reception!) The cocktail hour was held on the second level, and the guests were able to walk through the exhibits. The reception was on the first level which was spacious.

Lot 8 was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we started working with Kim and the team, their communication was attentive and they were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. On the day of, we did not have to worry about a single thing - the staff took care of everything seamlessly. The venue itself was the best value, with ample space for our 160 guests. My catering company has been around since 2011. We cater 150 - 200 weddings a year and The Tower Beach Club is one of my absolute favorite venue to cater at. The reception area has the best view in all of San Diego County. (FACT) There's a built in bar area where guest can get drinks/hors d'oeuvres from inside or outside. (You don't understand how super convenient that is for everyone in volved) The inside is always super clean and comes with tables and chairs. AND the PARKING IS FREE! You can not go wrong with the Tower Beach Club venue. From working with the owner and his staff to parking. 10/10 down the line!

Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center is the best kept secret and absolute jewel of a location for an event. I had my wedding here and you have access to the whole building, terrace, movie theater and amphitheater. It was a JOY working with Janet (operations manager). Perfect venue for amazing views and unique setting great for nature lovers. Maybe the best part is that what you pay to rent the facility goes to the MTRP Foundation to support the park- it's like making a donation! We loved that so much. Thank you for a beautiful venue for our wedding- it was a SUPERB experience from start to finish!
