“You have never seen a musician like this! When I first got engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted Cello Joe to play at our wedding. Unlike most wedding musicians, he not only plays classic cello for the ceremony but can also sings, loop and play original modern pieces like you've never heard. Your guests will be blown away. If that was not enough, he also DJs! He also has various equipment that you can rent for very reasonable fee - wireless mic, speakers, etc. Leading up to the event, he was great with the planning. His booking process was very organized and clear. He was flexible allowing us to submit any playlists and/or songs that we wanted and even familiarized himself with the songs beforehand. Our wedding day schedule was very complicated, but he did not miss a beat!! Because he was on top of the timing, our day was able to run smoothly and on time. He cued everything right on time and worked closely with our wedding coordinator to remain flexible throughout the day/night. His cello performance was... amazing. Our guest loved his set and were thoroughly entertained. His DJing was equally on par. He was able to read the crowd and kept them dancing all night. He accommodated song requests from our guests too. All in all, I could not be more grateful that we had him there on our special day. He made it magical and easy with his professionalism and talent. “It’s been 2 months since my wedding and I still have no words… Funktastic is by far the best wedding band I’ve ever heard (and yes, I’m biased so take it from the nearly 30 guests that told us the same)! Mike was so fantastic to work with, answering all of my many questions and putting me at ease. Amber was so incredibly organized and beyond helpful in working with us to create the perfect setlist. And now the band… while I was referred to Funktastic by some friends and coworkers, the thing that really sold me was the energy that the band brings, the band members’ MANY masters degrees in jazz (like what, music theory is so hard!!), and their insane ability to captivate an audience with their talent. Our singers were some of the best that I’ve ever seen, putting in these incredible riffs and belts that is practically unfathomable. Our band members were so in sync, vibing off of each other and putting a unique spin on every song. “Diamond Empire Band was the most fun and fantastic wedding band! Their musicians are talented and a great addition to the party! Their planning process and communication is fantastic. They made it so easy to ensure we had music we would like throughout the whole wedding. We hired them for a 5-piece band, MC service, Light Bars, and some sound systems for our ceremony. They really made our day run smooth. The MC service was an awesome addition to the band so they could announce all of our wedding activities throughout the night. Everyone was thrilled with the band all night and it was great to see our whole wedding party out on the dance floor. Elijah was our coordinator to help with the project management of our wedding. He was great! Really easy to get ahold of, really great for answering my many questions, and overall he did a great job helping us get everything finalized and ready to go for the wedding day. Their planning page included detailed spaces to include everything with the days timeline and song selection for key moments. It was so helpful and easy to follow. Overall, super thrilled with DEB.
