I’ve been a full-time entertainer for over a decade. I started as an emcee for my college campus events, got a job at the school radio station, did two radio internships with Riverbend Communications in Idaho Falls and KSL in Salt Lake City. I built a career as an on-air radio host on stations like Z103 in East Idaho and Wild 101 in Boise. As more and more people requested me to DJ their weddings, I decided to fully invest in the mobile DJ side of my business and here we are. I work year-round honing my skills as one of Idaho's top mobile DJs.
Many DJs are afraid to talk on the mic. Because I have invested over 10,000 hours public speaking I am polished and confident emceeing your wedding and leading your guests from one moment to the next. I will always practice my transitions before wedding day. I will never say anything offensive or distasteful on the mic. I am always asking myself, how can I communicate this message effectively in as few words as possible.

DJ Preston Lee brings the BEST energy!
Hiring DJ Preston Lee was genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our June wedding at the Boise Train Depot! He is helpful, responsive, collaborative and personable, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. DJ Preston supported our ideas and also weighed in with his expertise to help us develop a plan that was ideal for our venue. We were nervous about the acoustics of the building, but he knew exactly how to set up the sound system and work with the space. The online planning platform he used was incredibly helpful and efficient, and he set up a detailed document to keep everyone aligned. He was also great about staying on top of timelines and keeping us on track with tasks. DJ Preston went above and beyond to make our vision for our day come to life and brought the best energy to the evening. He was also a fantastic MC who facilitated smooth transitions and announcements throughout the night. One other sweet moment I wanted to share, just as a thanks and note of how impactful the music was at our wedding: One of my childhood friends lost her husband very unexpectedly months before our wedding. My husband pulled her out to dance with him for the last part of our first dance song, and then she and I had a minute where we just hugged and cried together - and 15 seconds later DJ Preston started playing “Believe” by Cher. We just burst into happy tears and laughter together, and it transitioned us perfectly back into party mode. Anyways it’s a small moment that will mean the world to me forever, and DJ Preston's skills and talent for reading the room and keeping the energy up played a big part in that. We had the BEST time and would highly recommend DJ Preston Lee for any event!

Executed perfectly!
Preston did a wonderful job at our wedding! We had a DJ cancel on us last minute and he saved the day. He is very professional and did a great job of conducting it the way we wanted. Everything was coordinated and executed perfectly. We had a mixed age group in attendance and Preston did a great job of entertaining everyone. We highly recommend hiring him for your event!

Preston is the absolute BEST!!!! He kept us hype the entire night, and if at any point I wanted a certain song or had any ideas of something, he would make it happen right away. I got so many compliments of him, and he knows what he’s doing. Great DJ, great Emcee, great person. Please hire Preston for any DJ needs that you may have! He won’t disappoint you!!!

The BEST in the biz!
DJ Preston Lee was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! He came highly recommended from a friend & we are so happy we ended up choosing him. From the very first conversation, his communication style was quick, easy & laid back, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. As a bride it was SO nice to just give him our "wants" (& don't wants, in my case) & let him take it from there so I could focus on other things. On the day of, Preston was hype, thorough & helped make sure our wedding was a fun celebration for ALL of our guests.
