“Growing up in Kennebunkport we had high expectations for our wedding at The Colony. Of course, the venue speaks for itself as the perfect backdrop for any wedding. No one will question that The Colony offers the best grounds and views for a wedding held in Kennebunkport. Our wedding was 130 people and the lawn (ceremony), front porch (cocktail hour), and ballroom (reception) were all great spaces for our guests. Our wedding day far exceeded our expectations and was truly a magical day for us, our family, and our friends. What truly set this experience apart was our wedding coordinator, Nicole. Her dedication, creativity, and organization made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was tailored to our vision. On the big day, we felt well prepared, and Nicole orchestrated everything flawlessly, allowing us to focus on enjoying each moment without any stress. We cannot thank her enough for the work put in to making the day perfect! Also of note, the food and drinks were exceptional, and we still have friends and family raving about the meal several months after the event (we went with the buffet option). We will happily recommend The Colony to anyone looking to have their special day in southern Maine!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Westin Portland Harborview Hotel. From start to finish, the entire team made our wedding weekend absolutely seamless, beautiful, and stress-free. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Lindsay Plantier, the Hotel’s Catering Sales Manager and our wedding coordinator. Lindsay was extraordinary—accommodating every last-minute change, working with our budget, and helping us customize the perfect dream wedding. On the wedding day itself, we were completely hands-off and everything ran with incredible professionalism. We received so many compliments from guests who noticed how organized, smooth, and well-run the entire event was. The staff throughout the hotel deserves major recognition. From check-in to check-out, we felt truly cared for. The front desk team was warm and attentive, and even the waitress assigned to us at our reception went above and beyond—checking in throughout the evening to make sure I ate, stayed hydrated, and could be fully present with our guests. Every single employee we encountered was kind, professional, and clearly part of a well-oiled, highly coordinated team. The ballroom itself was stunning. We didn’t have to purchase any extra décor besides a few bud vases we chose to add. The hotel provided linens, table numbers, candles, charger plates and more at no additional cost. The room looked polished, elegant, and absolutely beautiful! We also loved that our package included a farewell brunch at the Top of the East, which was gorgeous during the day and at night. We invited guests to "meet us at the Top of the East" after our reception to serve as an after party for those not ready to tuck in for the night. Guests raved about both the daytime ocean views and the nighttime skyline. The convenience of having everything under one roof was priceless. Our guests appreciated being able to park once and enjoy the entire weekend in one place. We were married at the church directly across the street, making it incredibly easy for everyone to move between events safely and comfortably. Choosing the Westin Portland Harborview was one of the best decisions we made. The venue, the service, the staff, and especially Lindsay created a wedding weekend that exceeded every expectation. We are so grateful and would recommend this venue wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a beautiful, expertly managed, guest-friendly wedding experience.”

“We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Wentworth by the Sea and could not recommend this venue to other couples enough. Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations. The biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit, and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom. We also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. From flowers to rentals and a band that kept everyone on their feet, we felt that we had the best team to support us and make our day look and feel exactly how we imagined. We could not have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our love, and the staff at Wentworth by the Sea made us feel like one-in-a-million!”

“From all of us, thank you!! You, Katie (Purple Orchid Event), Tess (Floralia Designs Studio), Leah (Leahs Lens) took everything Maddy, and I had envisioned and somehow made it even more beautiful than we imagined. Every detail came together so perfectly and seeing it all unfold was incredibly special, right down to the set-up of the Lighthouse and make-up vendor. It was all stunning! We are still receiving emails, calls, and notes from guests telling us what an amazing time they had. That says so much about you and your entire staff. The food was superb, the venue was spectacular, and everyone was so gracious and accommodating. You truly made our family, and guests feel cared for from beginning to end. I said to Mike that I loved having my own wedding there 30 years ago, but there was something especially magical about celebrating Maddy’s wedding there all these years later. As Mike keeps saying, “It was epic!” And it truly was. A very special thank-you as well to our friend Roger, who truly understands the meaning of “customer service.” We told him our paths just may cross again in Jamaica! And to Les, thank you for all your help with the boats and for tending to every little detail at our cozy house next to Ledgers. It was those thoughtful touches and acts of kindness throughout the weekend that made everything feel even more special. We appreciated them more than we can say. I know your job requires an incredible amount of patience, attention to detail, and grace, and you bring all of that so naturally. You and everyone at Sebasco helped turn a vision into a memory our family will treasure forever. We could not be more grateful. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making our daughters beautiful dream COME TRUE! See you next season on the water at Sebasco Harbor! Love Kim & Mike McAuliffe”

“Wolf Cove Inn is one of my all-time favorite places to be. The landscape is like something out of a magazine and the tranquility of it is refreshing on a whole other level, getting immersed in the nature all around. The loons are my favorite part. The staff are some of the most friendliest, down-to-earth characters I have ever met and go above and beyond to make their guests (and vendors) experience exactly what they were hoping for. They strive to bring you the best of the best from local sources and supporting small businesses. Their food is top notch amazing. Their decor is a fun mix of both modern and rustic elements. “Heidi was the most helpful during the planning process. She answered any and all questions I had about the space and logistics. She was professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Matt was amazing on the day of the wedding. He made sure the ceremony and reception went smoothly. He even drove my husband, myself, and our photographer back down the mountain after the ceremony in his own car! He continually checked in with me and made the day much easier. Now for the space itself - we were immediately blown away by the King Pine ceremony location at the top of a mountain overlooking the beautiful lake. We got to take the ski lift up to the ceremony with our guests and I know those will be unforgettable pictures! Our reception was tented at king pine field and everyone raved about the whole thing from start to finish. We spent our time canoeing and kayaking with our dog and spending time with our friends and family. I can’t recommend having your wedding at Purity Spring enough!”

“We had a wonderful experience working with The Noble House Inn Venue for our destination wedding. Their communication style was exceptional - always available via text and call, with open, caring, and compassionate conversations. The venue itself was simply beautiful, with clean rooms, impeccable grounds, and a magical setting that contributed to our special day. As this was a destination wedding, we had to ship many fragile decorative items and The Noble House team was extremely detail-oriented in handling these with care. Their hard work clearly showed in the final product - everything came together seamlessly for a warm, clean, and lovely event space. We cannot recommend The Noble House highly enough for their beautiful, well-maintained venue and thoughtful, available communication every step of the way. We love you Lynn & Matt”

“Choosing Camp Cody as our wedding venue was a huge decision and an excellent choice. Anna was so helpful throughout the process, and Dora was amazing weekend of–I never saw her standing still. The venue is so gorgeous, and being able to host our friends and family for a whole weekend made everything go by more slowly, with plenty of opportunities to connect with everyone. The Capture the Flag game we held morning of was a big highlight. The food was INCREDIBLE, and our guests haven’t stopped commenting on it. Everyone says you don’t eat at your wedding, and you better believe that was not true for us. As a person with a lot of food allergies, I’ve never felt more cared for and accommodated, and it was amazing to have that for our guests as well. In one notable moment, my cousin with celiac jumped with joy at the prospect of having gluten free pancakes and french toast for breakfast. The accommodations were comfortable, even in 30-40 degree temps overnight, the heat really works! Staying on site and not having to run around everywhere looking for everything and everyone made a big difference as someone without a planner. Also, arranging folks in cabins was not as stressful as we expected it to be. With our smaller wedding, we had plenty of space to spread people out. Thank you again to White Mountain Weddings for an amazing weekend!”

“I had the wedding of my dreams at the manor this past weekend. I had been there previously for events and knew before I was even engaged that was where I wanted to get married. The family that runs it are warm, inviting and have such an attention to detail that will leave you wanting for nothing. The communication leading up to felt like you were talking to a friend, easy and effective. The rooms were pristine and absolutely gorgeous when we arrived. They went above and beyond in so many ways. And the breakfast … I wish I could wake up there every day! The entire family was involved, and they really made you feel like family as well. I would recommend this venue not only for weddings, but also I have been to bridal showers and baby showers here and had the exact sentiments after those events as well.
