We hosted our small 35-person wedding reception at RLM Studio and it turned out to be the perfect space for our celebration. The open kitchen layout added a warm, communal feel that worked beautifully for our intimate gathering. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, modern, and easy to make our own. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we did experience a hiccup with the booking that made me a little nervous about how things would unfold. That said, Jordyn stepped in and handled the situation with care. She coordinated directly with our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event, and I really appreciated that effort. Her involvement helped ease my nerves and allowed me to enjoy the day. Overall, the space was a great fit, and I would absolutely recommend it to others planning a small or medium-sized event. It struck the right balance between functional and beautiful, and with the right team in place, it made for a memorable and meaningful celebration.

Eaglewood literally feels like you're in some place other than a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. It truly felt like an escape from the world. Working with Eileen to plan our wedding was fun and easy, she was always quick to respond to emails. We decided to move forward with our wedding depsite pandemic restrictions and she made sure that all of our questions and concerns were answered and addressed. Eaglewood's flexibility during that time was very much appreciated! We couldn't be happier with the beautiful location, delicious food and friendly staff. Eileen was there throughout our entire day, making sure we had everything we needed and escorting us to the first look locations on the golf course! We had our ceremony outside with the golf course as our back drop. There are plenty of beautfiul places to take pictures on the grounds as well! Having the "get ready rooms" available to us was also convenient since they are located closer to the event spaces than your hotel rooms are. My husband and I chose Eaglewood because my close friend got married there. We loved it then and we loved it even more for our wedding!

Look for venues offering comprehensive packages that include essentials like tables chairs and audio equipment. This approach often delivers better value than piecing services together separately.

Can Illinois Venues Accommodate Remote Wedding Participants?

While traditional venues might not explicitly advertise advanced remote participation many can adapt for hybrid events. Consider working with places like Cheney Mansion Starved Rock Lodge or Mt. Zion Convention Center to implement interactive elements beyond basic streaming. You could incorporate virtual reality experiences or live polls to keep remote guests fully engaged in your celebration.
