Affirmative Groove is a high-energy, 8-piece party band hailing from Richmond, VA. With a charismatic leading man, two standout female vocalists, and polished choreography, this band of veteran musicians will bring your big event to life. The first thing you’ll notice about Affirmative Groove is the look. The husband-wife team of Marrell and Sherry Elam infuses classic hollywood flair into everything they do. From attire to hairstyles to wardrobe details, this band is dedicated to presenting an expertly-crafted look that imparts a classy feel to any festivities.

The Masters of the Ceremony is owned and operated by Adolphus "Danja Mowf" Maples. The son of a 70's soul singer, Maples enjoyed sifting through and listening to his father’s records, 8-tracks and reel-to-reels as a child. After falling in love with hip-hop in the 80s, he began producing songs in the 90s while utilizing his father's records. Shortly thereafter, he signed a major record deal as a rapper, joining the likes of Missy Elliot and Aaliyah. Today he is a professional radio DJ and the perfect person to trust with your special day.

When people want to dance, Dance Candy delivers the good stuff. This seven-piece band features top-shelf talent, fresh energy and a song list as sweet and varied as a box of chocolates. From Aretha and Stevie to Justin and Britney, Dance Candy dishes out irresistible grooves all night. DJ Spark has lived in Virginia since 2000 and loves the family life here in the South. Music has always played a huge part in his life. DJ Spark listens to all genres of music, R&B, Rap, Gospel, Old school, New school, Pop, Jazz, Edm, Reggae, and the list goes on!
