I started photographing weddings in 2003 and eventually left my day job as a designer to do photography full-time, but I’ve never been able to turn the designer off. In addition to photos, I create a few animated gifs from every session. My style is influenced by design principles, architecture, Edward Hopper paintings, plus films by Stanley Kubrick & Denis Villeneuve. While composing I put as much attention into the scene as the subjects. I prefer to cover events solo and do my own editing, posting teasers the next day. Being diagnosed with Lupus at 16, I had to give up my ultimate goal of being a pilot in the Air Force. After my first year of Law School, I felt a bit empty and sat down to take a serious look at my life. I never saw it as a career path and pretty much wrote it off until 2016. I started my music education at 8 years old, starting with private piano lessons that spanned 12 years.. leading to a BA in Vocal Performance from Wayne State University, and study abroad in Rome, Italy. I’ve performed as a Soprano soloist/section leader for numerous churches throughout Metro Detroit, and have had the honor of singing with many great bands.
