I bailed on corporate America to start my DJ career, working for a multi-op company whose DJ’s all work part-time. Disenchanted w/the impersonal, volume-based multi-DJ business model, I went out on my own, providing my couples with a non-cheesy, musically lively reception. I take a personalized approach that involves them in planning their entertainment, creating a non-cookie cutter, unforgettably fun celebration experience:) Over 700 weddings later, I still get the best couples: real, genuine people who are interested in having a fun & classy wedding day!

The Wilmington String Ensemble has been providing quartet, trio, duo, and solo music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, civil union ceremonies, business events, and memorial services for over thirty years. Most of our engagements come from referrals, as our reputation is impeccable. My name is Marrell Battle and I hail from Colorado My background is in radio/'television and I'm a Viet Nam service veteran with a passion for music. My musical career began in my fathers church choir which led to a singing career with several bands from the 70's era. During the last 35 years I've been an on air personality throughout the Caribbean and in the U.S. My musical taste is very eclectic with musical knowledge that extends from the 40's to today. Dave Wilson is a leading jazz saxophonist, recording artist, band leader, composer, and educator in the Central PA/ Delaware Valley area, with a regularly active venue and festival schedule as both a leader of his own contemporary jazz groups and as a sideman. I am active playing at concerts, festivals, restaurants and private events in Central Pennsylvania, and play or have played in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and New York City. I am also a recording artist and have produced six CDs as the Dave Wilson Quartet, which have received national airplay and been reviewed favorably in major publications.

The Gilded Age - the era of Gatsby, flappers, speakeasies, and fun - inspires "Love, Charley," New York City's romantic jazz and swing band. We will transport you back in time to the era when dance music crackled on gramophone players and the radio, and the New York was a hotbed of jazz. Centered around the lush vocals and ukulele of Martina, "Love, Charley" sparkles with champagne melodies and dance rhythms. Named after a 1932 jazz standard, Street of Dreams Jazz Band from New York City is a vintage jazz and swing group with a lush, romantic sound. Easily portable and available as a trio or quartet, the ensemble features gorgeous arrangements of timeless jazz standards from The Great American Songbook. Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, and Hoagy Carmichael are a few of their favorite composers. Listeners will be transported back to the era when swing was king in NYC.
