The restored Historic Melrose Knitting Mill is a three-story brick mill, nestled in downtown Raleigh. The venue boasts exposed bricks, rough cut beams and twenty-four arched windows, providing an abundance of natural light. After opening one of Downtown Raleigh’s most vibrant restaurants on the ground level, creative director Samad Hachby renovated the third-story space to accommodate the larger weddings, special events, and parties that his restaurant was being sought after to host. Today, the Historic Melrose Knitting Mill sits perched high atop 309 N. Dawson Street welcoming guests to a true destination within the heart of the city.

My husband and I wanted a downtown Raleigh event space to host our reception. We are SO happy we went with Melrose Knitting Mill! The price was extremely competitive, location was excellent for out of town guests (no rental car needed), the space was clean, always accessible for me to pop by, food was served warm and tasted amazing, super friendly catering staff, and really excellent bar service. My guests loved cocktail hour downstairs and were wow'ed by the space!
