Step out of the busy world and into the peaceful setting of The Civil War Ranch, just five minutes from downtown Carthage, MO. The ranch offers venues for vintage, classic, bohemian, and elegant weddings -- whether outdoors or indoors! The Ranch's two-story Wedding Barn includes: 1. Climate-controlled restrooms and Bridal & Groom dressing rooms 2. Catering preparation room 3. Two banquet halls with 2nd-floor deck that overlooks the ranch pond 4. Restrooms, and Wi-Fi. If you prefer an outdoor ceremony, there are myriad options, including: 1. Dock at the 2.5-acre spring-fed pond. 2. On the secluded Spring Creek Pavilion stone stage in the woods west of the Wedding Barn. 3. Inside a late 1800s Barn. The 78-acre Civil War Ranch in Carthage, MO, has more than 50 acres of beautiful pasture, wetlands and wooded terrain to explore.

Welcome to our beautiful venue! Venue 105 was newly built in 2021. We have over 5500 sq ft of under roof space with a luxury lodge like feel (climate controlled). We also have a bridal suite, grooms' room and caterer's kitchen for your use. Our outdoor ceremony area is under a beautiful canopy of mature oak trees with rustic bench seating for 200 plus guests. All areas are handicap accessible. We do setup tables/chairs custom for your event, included in the cost!

Under the Woods Event Center was created when our eldest son and future daughter-in-law were searching for a location wedding. Our family realized we had the perfect location and beautiful acreage on our rolling Ozark hills to build a gorgeous event venue that would be perfect for their fit event and many future events. We designed a climate controlled barn conveniently located on Highway 71 in Jane, Missouri, one mile north of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
