Greenwood Springs Event Center is an award winning wedding venue located just outside Joplin, Missouri. Our property blends timeless stone architecture with a modern glass greenhouse, creating a space where indoor comfort meets outdoor beauty. Couples can choose between a manicured outdoor ceremony lawn surrounded by mature trees or a fully climate controlled glass venue filled with natural light. The space comfortably hosts celebrations of up to 250 guests. The restored 100 year old Bridal Cottage offers a private place to get ready before walking across the bridge to the ceremony. Beneath it, the Groom’s Cave provides a relaxed space for the guys to spend the morning. Outdoor patio areas with fire pits and seating extend the celebration into the evening.

    Wedding!

    Greenwood Springs Event Center was an absolute pleasure to work with as a wedding vendor. Their communication throughout the planning process was friendly, prompt, and highly professional. The venue itself is brand new and features a stunning modern greenhouse design that provides a beautiful and unique setting for weddings. The value and quality of their services exceeded my expectations, and I would enthusiastically recommend Greenwood Springs to any couple searching for the perfect wedding venue.

    Modern Wedding Venue

    I love working with Grant and Sherri at Greenwood Springs Event Center. They are always punctual, kind, and helpful. I love having this modern venue that provides a different vibe for my couples. The grounds are top notch, the owners care about your experience and the views are phenomenal. I always light up when my brides tell me their wedding is at Greenwood Springs!

Since we hold a Missouri Liquor License, all outside alcohol is strictly prohibited on Greenwood Springs property.
Set up, tables, chairs, and all parts of the venue except the getting ready suites, which are available for an additional fee. Cleanup is also included, however we ask that all trash be placed in the trash bins prior to your departure.
All payments made toward your event, including the deposit, are non refundable as outlined in our contract. In the event of cancellation, payments will not be returned.
Yes. All clients are required to provide a day of event insurance policy. The policy must include general liability coverage and host liquor liability. This protects both you and the venue in the event of accidents or unforeseen circumstances. We provide recommended insurance options after booking.
Venue rental includes access from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM on your event day. All guests and vendors must be off the property by 11:00 PM. Additional time for rehearsal the evening prior may be added for a separate fee, based on availability.

Yes, we can park cars up to a guest count of 250 guests (but not 250 cars).
