“She was wonderful to work with. So easy to communicate with, easy to schedule with. And so was patient with my daughter who asks 1,000 questions. Not once did she get frustrated with my daughter, and still did a great job on my make up. Was so very accommodating to what I wanted. And during my trial, if I didn't like it she would change it until I did. She was early on my wedding day, and I very much appreciate that. So we knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. We knew I needed smaller lashes because of my glasses, and Mrs. Carolyn worked with them until they fit perfectly with my glasses. If I ever needed make up again, I would absolutely go with her. She was wonderful.”

“I chose GLAMbridal because they seemed to focus on natural wedding makeup that enhances your features -- and that's what they delivered for me on wedding day. GLAMbridal's communication was friendly and transparent throughout the process, although at times my coordinator and I waited a while for responses to our questions. On the day of the wedding, my artist, Lou, was calm and adaptable, working diligently to create a beautiful, natural look that enhanced my features. Lou worked hard to use my top-of-the-shoulder (aka fairly short) hair to create a beautiful low bun with twists of hair leading into it from each front side. After I cried during my first look and messed up the foundation and powder on my cheeks, Lou stepped away from working on my mom's hair to give me a touch up. Lou helped my mom look her best, too. My makeup did not hold up well through the ceremony when I cried a fair bit more but never balled. I ended up removing everything but my eye makeup right after the ceremony and license signing because I had big streaks down my cheeks. I've never had professional makeup done before, so I really don't know how well it should withstand tears sliding down it. It was a little disappointing to have to remove all the makeup covering up my rosacea before the reception, but I was grateful that the eye makeup had held up well despite the tears. Overall, I think Lou and GLAMbridal did excellent work in professional and friendly manner and at a fair and reasonable price. I recommend them to other brides.”

“I can’t say enough great things about the beauty team I had. Brenda did phenomenal on my makeup! I was happy crying all day and night and my makeup held up the entire time. She listened to what I wanted and made my face feel weightless even with a full face and foundation! Mercedes did wonders with my hair and the curls held all night even through jumping, crazy wind, and a handsy groom lol. She’s the sweetest and so supportive of whatever I wanted. Eva did fantastic with all of the hair and makeup she did for my girls also! Huge thanks all around the such a fantastic team. Overall communication was great prior to booking and died down a bid in the middle of the experience and towards my wedding but I’m guessing that was due to it being a busier time of year. At the end of the day I’d highly recommend them though, especially the fantastic artists that I had the pleasure of working with.”

In the evening we had a 25 guest count ceremony and reception, Kaitlyn did my mother's makeup & my mother in laws makeup and hair. They were both very very in love with the jobs she did. She did a fresh face and hair touch ups for my evening celebration and did an amazing job again! She was very professional and I would recommend booking her for your makeup and hair needs!”

It's clear she knows how to do hair and makeup for different facial structures and types of hair - she's a total expert. Speaking of, Catelyn is a consummate professional with extensive experience (show biz in LA!). She brought such a calming presence on my wedding day. I have pretty thick, heavy hair that doesn't usually stay up easily. Catelyn secured my hair so well that it did not budge at all, even when I took the veil out and in the intense winds out in the Gorge. She also gave me a touch-up kit with other helpful things (tissue - which I definitely used, Q-tip, breath mint, etc.). My makeup held up well through the many tears, too. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the day, with everyone saying how beautiful I looked. I cannot recommend Avantchard/Catelyn enough for her exceptional service, warm presence, and quality work!”
