I'm Katherine, a wedding photographer based in Oakland, CA. Holy smokes! If you're looking for a photographer in California/Bay Area who's not just talented but an absolute blast to work with, look no further. We just had our engagement shoot, and let me tell you, Katherine is the real deal. Her personality is so infectious, we forgot we were even doing a photoshoot. Before we knew it, we were laughing, being silly, and just having fun with what felt like an old friend. She asked us all the right questions that made us feel at ease and boy, did it show in the photos. TLDR? If you don't book her, you're missing out big time. I would 1000% recommend her.

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Would highly recommend Connie to anyone I know that will have a wedding. She was very fun and is flexible of where you want photos taken. Her prices are definitely fair! Will never forget Connie for what she did for us at wedding.

Thirty years documenting our beautiful people, from set up portraiture to long lens candids. I know how to tell a moving and beautiful story. The wonderful part of living in the Bay Area is the diversity I experience and the divine rituals we share as a people. I've traveled to many countries to collect these precious moments. Welcome. "I BELIEVE...connection matters. Photos tell our story and carry our legacy. Melanin matters on camera. Every human deserves to be seen. 8 out of 10 humans say they feel awkward in front of the camera; Laughter is the antidote." It is my loud passion to capture the personality of relationship...within couples, families, communities, and even organizations. And I have been this way since I was a kid. With my hot pink camera in tow, 8-year old me would capture the loud joy of my BIG extended family. Little did I know...they were my training ground in photography. And I am happy to say that my approach to photography hasn't changed.

Brandi was amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or a better experience! From our first virtual meeting with Brandi we knew that we made the right choice! Brandi has an amazing personality and we could tell right away that she was passionate about not only photography but about people too!! On our wedding day Brandi worked hard to bring our vision to life and exceeded all of our expectations! Our photos were amazing! We have received so many compliments on our photos! We are so thankful that Brandi was a part of our big day! I only wish that we lived closer so that Brandi could capture more of our memories!!

I’m a SF Bay Area photographer with almost seven years of experience capturing life’s quiet, beautiful moments, from the anticipation of maternity to the tenderness of newborn days and the joy of growing families. In the past year, I found myself drawn to something new: weddings. I began second shooting and quickly realized how much I loved being part of a couple’s most meaningful day. But it was the micro weddings and elopements that truly spoke to me .Intimate, intentional celebrations where every detail feels personal and every moment holds weight.

By ASTERIA Weddings was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. They were very responsive and knowledgeable throughout the entire process, which put us at ease. Emmy, our photographer, is incredibly detailed and knew exactly what to capture to make our pictures amazing. My photos turned out better than I could have imagined - she was wonderful to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. I highly recommend By ASTERIA Weddings to any couple looking for exceptional service and stunning results.

Sonya Yruel Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)

  • Serves Pleasanton, CA

With a candid style and two decades of professional photography experience, my passion is capturing real moments and creating photos that tell your story. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am proud to work in the diverse communities here, and welcome the diversity of my clients who are looking to both honor past family traditions as well as create some of their own. My approach to wedding photography is simple; the day of the wedding is about two people coming together to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones, and photos are about connection and trust. My goal is to have your photographs remind you of how you felt that day.

Sonya was truly a pleasure to work with and we are extremely glad we went with her over all the other photographers out there. We were first interested in her when we saw her online portfolio and liked her style. Afterwards, we met her in-person to ask questions and go over the whole process. Sonya was extremely pleasant to talk to with her warm and professional demeanor. She answered all our questions and went over the contract with us in great detail. After deciding to go with her, Sonya reached out to set an engagement shoot date. The engagement shoot went smoothly and Sonya never rushed us or seemed in a rush. Even when we went over the designated hours set for us, she stayed until we finished going throughout the entire place we went to. Of course the photos all turned out great and we even used a few inside the wedding as features. On the day of the wedding, Sonya showed up exactly on time with her assistant photographer. She is very professional, personable, and wonderful to work with! In between our ceremony and reception, we were able to do a 20-min photoshoot. Sonya knew immediately which shots to take and the photoshoot went very, very smoothly. She has amazing attention to detail and she knows exactly what she is doing. After we received the photos back from her, we loved her work and had so many amazing photos to choose from! Overall, we give our highest recommendation to Sonya! Additionally, she replies very quickly to inquiries and when we were planning the wedding. It was great to have quick communication. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Sonya!!!

I am an Oklahoma born, but Cali raised - dancer, roller skater, photography stylist, photographer, momma to two little girls, foodie, crafter, lover of laughter, action and pyscho-thriller movie watcher, and sports player. I also find peace in the outdoors and California trees. I like to keep it active and adventurous. I believe in giving 110% at everything I do, but also want it to be fun. I chose photography to be my vocation because I have a true obsession with humans and the way we love, interact, and celebrate rituals personal to our families and cultures. I stand up for equality and justice for BIPOC and LGBTTQQIAAP.

Joy Coakley was a dream to work with. She was professional, responsive and did an outstanding job. Her photography was stunning. I am pleased to recommend her and hope to see her at my venue often.

Vision infinie by Stavan

I’m Stavan Shah, Creative Director at Vision infinie, a luxury wedding studio devoted to documenting celebrations with artistry and thoughtful storytelling. With over a decade of experience and formal education in Photography from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and CEPT School of Architecture and Design in India, photography has always been both my craft and creative pursuit. As a father to a young daughter and a dad to three dogs, family is at the center of my life. That perspective shapes the way I see weddings, as meaningful celebrations filled with moments that deserve to be preserved with care and intention.

Stavan was an amazing photographer for my wife and I. He was so responsive throughout the process, and we planned our wedding for over 9 months in the middle of a pandemic, so there was need for LOTS of communication! Stavan and his assistant were unbelievably professional. He took incredible photos and got them back to us before we even finished our honeymoon! We would highly recommend Stavan for any project or photography need. He was a pleasure to work with, and the finished project was better than we could have ever expected!

I've been photographing weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 16 years, and what keeps me coming back is the same thing that drew me in from the start: those fleeting, unguarded moments that you can't stage or recreate. The way you hold your breath before walking down the aisle. The look you exchange when you think no one's watching. The quiet, tender moments that happen in between all the big ones.

I have had the pleasure of working with Meg on countless weddings and shoots and I can honestly say after watching her in action for years that she is super talented, professional, and fun/easy to work with! She caters her photos to each client so it's personal and full of each couple's personality - even if you don't really like taking photos, Meg makes the process easy and fun! And the icing on the cake is that her work is absolutely beautiful - you'll be so excited to display your photos! If you're looking for a professional photographer who not only takes beautiful photos that you'll cherish for a lifetime, but is a pro who communicates really well with her clients, and really works with each couple to make their photos session personal to them, look no further - you wont regret it!

Hi, I’m Amanda - photographer, storyteller, and the creative eye behind Amanda Banks Photography. My work blends editorial composition with real emotion, capturing weddings and love stories that feel both effortless and artful. Think golden-hour light, natural movement, and timeless imagery that still feels modern.

Finding THE PERFECT photographer for arguably one of the most important days of my life was no easy task. And I'm so, soooo happy we found Amanda. I was terrified I would only get 1 or 2 good shots out of the day, but WOW, she completely blew us away. From the moment we met her, she made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely seen. She captured the day exactly how it felt: emotional, joyful, warm, and full of life. There was magic in every shot. Amanda guided us so naturally, never once making anything feel posed or forced and was the ULTIMATE HYPE WOMEN, which is what every bride needs on her wedding day!!! She caught the little moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and somehow turned them into the most stunning, timeless photos we will treasure forever. Can't recommend her enough!!!

Radostina Boseva Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Editorial style
  • Serves Pleasanton, CA

Radostina (rhymes with “patina”) was born and raised in the coastal town of Varna, Bulgaria. After finishing her Master’s in Arts, she moved to the Czech Republic, where she began her career in graphic design, styling, and art direction. It was there, in the middle of her Czech adventure, that the passion for film photography was born. Now, an award-winning fine art wedding photographer, Radostina resides in San Francisco, with her husband Martin and their English bulldog, Fuji.

We are so happy that we chose Radostina to capture our special moment. Everything was smooth and contributed to the overall experience - from the initial contact to photographing the event to delivering the stunning photos. Radostina's attention for detail is second to none and her taste is impeccable, she gave us great ideas before and during the event on how to capture every moment in a way that we can preserve our memories. The colors, the captured light and the emotions on the pictures are just mesmerizing, probably because it was captured on film. We'd love to have Radostina capture another special moment for us in the future.

I know you’re sitting there looking through a list of photographers & wondering which one should I choose?! I know how you feel! You’re trying to see which one will capture the most beautiful photos, which one will best fit your personality, will they be able to capture those candid memories, & of course, will they fit in my budget?

I hired Holly to photograph my husband and me for my 50th birthday, and she did an amazing job. A couple of years later, we hired her again to photograph us with our beloved dog for a living healthy and lifestyle series we were working on. The photos turned out beautifully. Since then, we’ve sadly lost our pet to cancer, and I’m so grateful to have these wonderful memories captured in photos.

  • Serves Pleasanton, CA

I’m Peter, the guy behind Bedrosian Photo. I photograph weddings, people, parties, emotion, chaos, and all the weird little moments in between. I care way more about honesty than perfection — the nervous energy before a ceremony, your drunk uncle on the dance floor, your grandma crying quietly in the corner, or the split-second look your partner gives you when they think nobody’s watching. Those moments matter more than anything staged ever could.

Awarded Best of Zola
Peter from Bedrosian Photo was an amazing photographer that truly cared about our small wedding. He was very respectful of our culture and religion, and was very kind and understanding when we had our ceremony at our temple. Peter is an amazing listener, and any concerns we had about having someone outside of our culture completely went away once he started working with us. The photos he captured were beautiful and amazing, and he contributed so much to making our special day truly memorable. We are thrilled with the work Bedrosian Photo provided and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented and caring photographer.

Our approach is centered on capturing real emotions and candid moments, ensuring that every laugh, tear, and tender glance is preserved authentically. We believe in creating a relaxed environment where you can be yourselves, allowing us to document your day as it naturally unfolds.

I was blown away by the number of beautiful moments they captured. Every smile, hug, and laugh is in the pictures. The video is like a movie, I’ve already watched it multiple times. They even caught things I didn’t notice during the wedding, like my dad tearing up while walking me down the aisle. The lighting and colors are gorgeous and natural. I was nervous about how the photos would look, but they made everything look so perfect. My husband looks so happy, and I love how my bridesmaids and family were included in all the shots. The candids are some of my favorite because they feel real. They stayed late to capture the sparkler exit and it turned out amazing. The portraits are incredible too, not stiff at all. They made me feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. Everyone has been raving about how beautiful the photos are. I couldn’t be happier.

Being the maid of honor, I had the privilege of standing right beside my best friend all day long. I saw how nervous she was, and then how relaxed she became once everything started flowing. What amazed me was how the photographers caught all of it the nerves, the laughter, the relief. I love that they even captured our inside jokes, the silly faces we made, and the way we held hands during the vows. The video is like nothing I’ve ever seen, it feels like a movie but still so real. Watching it brings back every emotion and I wasn’t even the bride! The photos make me smile every time because I can see how truly happy she was, and that means the world to me. I’m so thankful they gave her (and all of us) something so precious.
