My Secret Garden LLC is a boutique floral design and event styling studio based in Connecticut area (we travel too!). Our studio is run by Ulyana and Yuliya Lyalka, a sister duo. Ulya is the principal designer while Yuliya supports us in onsite events. Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern-day aesthetic that is both natural and playful. ​

The first day I worked in floral design, I knew I was home. It quickly became my passion, inspiration, and outlet and has allowed me to bring so much added beauty to people’s favorite days! I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.
