“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

“Abby was very professional. Responsive, provided clear expectations given we were on a tight timeframe of what needed to happen and what was feasible. She listened to my goal for a wedding vibe and my style and also was transparent about her style and capabilities and we found the the perfect design that married the two. “Valerie at Frosted Swirl Cupcakes was wonderful! She was so accommodating, organized, and her cupcakes are incredible! Her flavor combinations are fantastic. My favorite was the Maple Chocolate Chip Pancake and my wife's was the Peanut Butter Cup, but they were truly all delicious. We chose to do a variety of mini cupcakes for our wedding and our guests LOVED them. We maybe had 5 left over, and that is with us ordering more than recommended. Valerie also worked with us to do a wedding cutting cake and executed our design preference perfectly. She also perfectly handled the delivery, set up of the cupcakes on her displays (would recommend purchasing that option), as well as the pickup of the displays (would also recommend purchasing that option). We were able to take it to-go and enjoy the cake tasting together at home! We ended up choosing vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I sent her an inspo picture of what I was going for as far as cake detailing and floral placement. My wedding cake came out just like the picture! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). “Going with The Naked Cupcake for our wedding day was a no-brainer. We compared several different places and none of them hit the mark like The Naked Cupcake did. To start, they offer the option of a virtual consultation for the tasting, which makes it super easy and convenient for busy people like my husband and I. You get to pick out 4 different combinations to taste for cupcakes, pick them up, and then schedule a virtual consultation that works for your schedule. After that, it was smooth sailing. I told Alison exactly what I was looking for and she delivered! She was so easy to talk to, flexible to get us what we wanted, and quick! Plus, she was very on top of things making sure our venue got their insurance, communicating with our wedding planner, etc. My husband and I were so happy we went with them. We loved our wedding cake, all the flavors from the tasting were so good we went with pretty much all of them, and they were so kind to leave us a sweet handwritten card with a mini cake for my husband and I to take home (we decided to freeze it and have it on our one year anniversary :)). “10000% Recommend Kaly’s Cakes and Bakes for your next wedding/event! You can really tell that Kaly takes so much time and effort to create these amazing works of art! From the very start she was helpful/attentive in creating my dream wedding cake. The cake was fully customizable with options for colors, flower types, tiers, etc, and the result was exactly what we had hoped for! Everyone at the wedding was talking about how beautiful it was and how detailed the flowers were. For flavors we opted for raspberry vanilla and it was delicious! I would definitely order a cake from this business again!”
