“Jenna & Omari DJ/MC’d our December wedding and WOW. Throughout the entire process, Jenna was SO kind and patient. Most of us only get married once, and planning a wedding is hard! I had so many questions along the way, and she always had an answer for me without the attitude that I got from some of our other vendors. Their forms are helpful without being repetitive, and they encourage you to think about more than just one moment of the day. On the day of, the Airwave team arrived and set up early. I did not have to worry about a thing, as they had already discussed with us the structure of the day, timing, etc. The mirror photo booth was SUCH a hit with our guests! The ability to have photos printed on spot instead of just texted to you was such a nice touch. They also provided a variety of props that made for a very fun evening. Our group, unfortunately, is not much for dancing- but Jenna and Omari were still able to keep the vibes going all night long! They worked from both playlists I’d sent and prior knowledge- they appealed to everyone on our guest list, and everyone had at least a few songs to get down to no matter what age or background they came from. As far as MC work, they kept our schedule on track and always found the perfect timing to transition into the next stage of the evening. I really can’t thank them enough for the hard work they put in to make our day so perfect. If I could do it all over again, I’d choose Airwave every single time. ️”

Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We cannot recommend DJ Eddie enough! He went above and beyond to help me execute a surprise for my husband during our ceremony, which involved playing a special song featuring the voice of his late mother. It was executed flawlessly and turned out to be one of my husband’s favorite moments of the entire day. As for the reception, the dance floor was never empty! Even family members who rarely dance were out there having a blast. So many guests told us, “The DJ was playing all the best tunes!” His song selections and transitions were perfect, keeping the energy high and everyone engaged. “Fernando was great to work with, I believe he is the owner. The purpose for my 4 stars was for a couple of reasons; I sent over timelines and the finalized timeline was great! However, I don’t believe that the DJ that came to my wedding read it over thoroughly. My bridal entrance song was botched, it had very detailed instructions, there didn’t seem to be any questions, however, it was started late into the song so my whole grand entrance was thrown off, it was supposed to be a surprise to my husband, but with it starting later into the song it didn’t offer me my grand entrance as the bride; I was very disappointed as I was patiently waiting to enter at a certain time of the song and finally just had them open the doors to enter at a completely different time in the song. As a bride when you spend months and months for that moment, it just made me very sad that it was taken from me. Another area, which was also detailed in the timeline, was for the bride and sons dance, I requested to have everyone on the dance floor for that dance because my kids are younger and I didn’t want them to feel like everyone was staring at them or get stage freight, however the DJ had everyone leave the dance floor and we were up there alone. I had to check to make sure he had the correct timeline because it seemed like there were things that just seemed off. The last thing was we started with a DJ named Mathew, he was unresponsive when I reached out to him in December, we finally had to reach out directly to the owner who took care of us from there. The DJ at our wedding, on all other things did great! Even our last dance he brought a speaker outside for us to dance under the lights which was a great idea. I would say it would have been great to have spoken directly to the DJ that would have been at our wedding prior to the wedding as these little issues could have been sorted during that time. All communication was through Fernando, he was very responsive.”

“We first saw the Bay Kings Band perform at a wedding in Nov. 2022, and it was then that we knew we wanted a live band to play at our reception when we got married. When we started wedding planning in 2025, we decided to check out the Bay Kings Band at one of their showcases. Billy, the producer, approached us early on in the evening and started getting to know us. After watching them perform that night, we decided to look no further. Billy was our primary point of contact and was incredibly easy to work with. He was quick to respond whenever we reached out and made the planning process easy. He also made a concerted effort to get to know us and our personal music tastes in the months leading up to the wedding. During our final planning call about 2 weeks before the wedding, we went over our must play list, do not play list, and the songs we wanted played during various events (grand entrance, last song, etc.). We’ll admit that we presented Billy with several challenges, in that many of our do not plays were songs they probably play all the time at weddings (mostly line dances, Bruno Mars, Single Ladies, etc). We also were not going to have any formal dances, and we had no opinions on what we wanted played during the other events that night. Billy did a great job at talking us through options as well as getting a feel for what our guests might enjoy. On the night of our wedding, Billy and the Bay Kings Band absolutely slayed it. We had so many guests come up to us that night raving about how great the vibes were thanks to the band’s energy, set list choices, and each person’s talent. The dance floor was packed full the entire night, without a single line dance played. It also helped that they played several numbers from the Shrek and Shrek 2 soundtracks, which we assured Billy previously would go over VERY well with our crowd. They also threw in a few little surprises just for us that made our night all the more special. In addition to being wildly talented, each person from the band we spoke to was incredibly kind and gracious. We absolutely loved each and every member of the band present that night and will be forever grateful for all they did to make our wedding the best night of our lives. Do it. Hire them. You will not regret it. And be sure to include a saxophonist!”
