“I was hesitant to book anyone for our wedding photography at first — it wasn’t personal, I just felt unsure and overwhelmed by the whole process. But John Barone completely changed that. He followed up thoughtfully over email and offered to set up a call. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He was clearly the most capable person I had spoken to, and by the end of the call, I was completely sold on him and his team. I had my heart set on a documentary-style photographer, and I was especially drawn to Stuart’s work. I followed his portfolio online and was continually impressed with every post. Leading up to the wedding, John was more of a help than he probably realizes. He took the reins on scheduling the entire day — something that should’ve been in my wheelhouse (I’m a planner and a project manager by day), but somehow felt incredibly daunting. John made it easy and even encouraged me to book extra time with our venue. Thank god he did. They arrived right on time, were exceptionally kind, and made both me and my husband feel completely comfortable. They worked seamlessly and quietly, doing things behind the scenes that I didn’t even notice in the moment — because they never wanted me to stress. My family and friends were absolutely obsessed with both of them. They were not only professional, but also hilarious and engaging — somehow making noises I didn’t even know were humanly possible to get the attention of my 10-month-old twin nephews! I would book this team again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone I know. There was truly nothing more they could have done to make our day more perfect — because they already did it all. When I received our photos from John, everything was communicated clearly and on time. I never once had to worry, and the results? Absolutely exceeded every expectation. “Hoffer Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. Amy and Tony are the sweetest people and amazing professionals. They are so responsive to emails and communicate clearly in person, which made an everything easy and stress free. One of the coolest things about them is how they work so seamlessly together without ever needing to verbalize anything- the two of them were moving lights and people and background items to make sure the posed photos were perfect. During the getting-ready time, the ketubah signing, the ceremony, and the reception they seemed to be everywhere at once taking candids. Between the two of them they perfectly captured the joy, energy, and emotions of our special day. The results were absolutely breathtaking, with vibrant colors, beautiful lighting, and such a natural, lively feel. They are perfect time capsules of the laughter and dancing, as well as the little details and decorations! Everyone who saw the photos complimented the quality. The Hoffers sent us a preview and the full selection soon after the wedding (much faster than anticipated), which meant we got to see some photos while still on our honeymoon. Every aspect of working with them was wonderful and I have recommend them to so many friends. We feel so lucky to have found such talented and professional photographers to document our wedding.”

I’m a high energy self taught photographer, I started this beautiful journey 4 years ago. Lucid Memories Photography by Delycia has been published in about 15 portrait magazines and participated in countless collaborations with other great small businesses in my area. I fell in love with telling couples love stories so quickly! There was something about photographing two people in love and telling their story. I firmly believe your photos should show you and your partners personalities. There’s nothing better than being able to be comfortable, and act like yourself for those lifelong pictures!

“There aren’t enough words to describe the absolute icon that is Delycia. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. It felt like hanging out with a long-time friend, coupled with Delycia’s incredible ability to give just enough direction to create stunning photos while still capturing “us.” We couldn’t stop gushing about her afterward. When we had to drastically change our venue’s location, we were worried it would be too far for her. But Delycia, being the flexible and amazing human she is, happily agreed and continued to be our photographer without hesitation. The lead-up and preparation could not have gone smoother. Every check-in with Delycia turned into a 30-minute chat about life, wedding planning, and whatever came up that day. Our wedding day was absolutely chaotic—things started late, I got injured, and general mayhem ensued. But Delycia was there to navigate it all, ensuring we got the photos we wanted—and so much more. She even ushered us out of our reception to take couple photos that turned out to be the most incredible images of the entire evening, photos we will treasure forever. Delycia isn’t just a photographer; she’s a director, choreographer, personal hype-woman, and miracle worker. Not to mention, she sent us first-look photos during our wedding afterparty, delivered final digital edits within a month, and had our prints ready within two months! If I had to plan another wedding, Delycia at Lucid Memories would be the only person I’d trust with my photos. In fact, I’m already figuring out the next time I can work with her! She’s not just my photographer; she’s my friend for life!”
