She was pleasant, great with the flower girls and ring bearer to get them to walk slow and smile, and was full of joy for us as we celebrated. Our photos were perfect, and she even got some nice ones of my dad who hates pictures. She also worked with us to make sure that we had time for wedding portraits and to actually attend about half of our cocktail hour. Overall is was fantastic and reasonably priced for the area too.”

With his years of experience, he had clear vision for what needed to be done and when. He even helped us put together a photo schedule leading up to the wedding. On the big day, our family portraits were done quickly and smoothly, and the bridal party shots were a blast! The portraits of my husband and me felt so intimate and really captured our love. We ran ahead of schedule with all of our photos and we only used between 10-15 minutes of cocktail hour time to capture a few extra couple portraits. Our guests loved the black-and-white portrait booth. John set up a QR code for them to easily access the gallery, which was super helpful for us! I can’t recommend John enough—he and his team were absolutely amazing!”

“Working with Kandid Art was overall a great experience! They showed up on time and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Though the wedding ran a bit behind, they were flexible. The photos turned out beautiful, and they got creative with the locations given the cold, rainy weather. They even got some funny shots of the kids at the wedding that are some of my favorites! The video was also good, although I don't love that they had to use like stock music for the background (I guess it's because of copyright issues with other songs?). I wish they would have included audio of the vows rather than the cheers of the attendees, so make sure you ask them to do that if you want it! I do love that they provided us with all the raw video footage though, as some of the most special moments didn't make the highlight video. Due to the event running behind, the cost increased a bit (which I was asked about after the wedding) due to the 2 photographers needing to split up to cover the shots. I wish they had asked me or the Wedding Coordinator about that on the day of so we could understand better what was the issue, but it was a minor thing in terms of communication. Overall 8/10 rating and would recommend.”

I’m a high energy self taught photographer, I started this beautiful journey 4 years ago. Lucid Memories Photography by Delycia has been published in about 15 portrait magazines and participated in countless collaborations with other great small businesses in my area. I fell in love with telling couples love stories so quickly! There was something about photographing two people in love and telling their story. I firmly believe your photos should show you and your partners personalities. There’s nothing better than being able to be comfortable, and act like yourself for those lifelong pictures!
