Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Welcome to Alber Orchard & Freedom Winery. Only 30 minutes west of Ann Arbor or an hour from Detroit, our beautiful orchard provides a perfect country get-away in the rolling hills of Manchester, Michigan. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. Located in the heart of downtown Jackson the County Tower Building was built in 1929 by Detroit architect Albert Kahn. Originally built as the Union and Peoples National Bank the second floor is where the tellers were located. The second floor ballroom was renovated in 2021 and opened in October. The new Venue 19 Zero 9, named after Schuler’s founding year in 1909, will occupy the historic Dreamers Furniture store, blending Schuler’s legacy with modern elegance for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The venue will feature a reception room for 250 guests, intimate seating areas, bridal quarters, large restrooms, and three boutique hotel rooms. Schuler’s Restaurant will provide exclusive catering for exceptional culinary experiences.

Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

The Meeting House Grand Ballroom is a single event wedding and banquet facility located in downtown Plymouth. It has been family owned and operated since 1965. We are well known for our exceptional food, service, and attention to detail. Our ballroom features three crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, & original wood floors.

Northville Hills Golf Club has an elegant banquet room with high wood-beamed ceilings, a beautiful mahogany bar, a cozy fireplace, and panoramic windows looking out onto the golf course. Our venue has a covered outdoor patio and open courtyard with a pond, which is where our ceremonies are held. We have several package options to meet each couple’s needs and desires. Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season.
