We are a family owned venue that is located within miles of Olympia, WA. Capitol City Barn is a new 4,600 sq. ft. barn that offers an indoor/outdoor experience; a space for the wedding party to prepare; a warming kitchen for caterers; beautiful outdoor patios, gardens and a stone alter, plus many more amenities. Their vision is respected and encouraged- we are just there to make their dreams come true! This also allows for each couple to express their style and allows us to fit in where needed. We allow our clients to chose their journey! We have great vendor recommendations, but do not require they use specific ones. We go the extra mile to fill any voids, help relieve stress and chaos, and take care of our guests, all of our guests!

I started baking cakes six years ago in Milton Massachusetts for a non-profit called "Birthday Cakes 4 Free" my family would bake and deliver cakes to children and seniors who were not able to afford a cake on their special day. During that time, it really allowed me to find my own style. I can now say with confidence, that my aesthetics is PNW inspired! I don't use fondant, and I try my hardest to incorporate the seasons most beautiful fresh organic flowers.

I'm Taylor, your favorite irreverent wedding and elopement photographer, dog mom, and the most fun you've had during a photoshoot since, like, ever. Of Israeli and Mizrachi heritage, she's deeply involved in community and interfaith initiatives like J Street and the Jewish Federation. A dedicated advocate for education and mental health, she serves on the NAMI Washington board and is a noted presenter.

I have always loved filmmaking! Yep, in school I was the nerd running around with a video camera in my hand everywhere I went. While the jocks and cheerleaders were doing what they do, I was the one editing their videos for the broadcast journalism class. I had no idea I would love creating wedding films until I actually fell in love myself. The love for my wife, what marriage means to me, and the passion I have for filmmaking has brought me to this place today. I consider it an absolute honor to be there for your wedding day…and I hope we can be friends along the way too 🙂
