Sterk's Catering began over 40 years ago in the home kitchen, and has expanded to its present location in Oberlin, Ohio. Sterk's has been a family owned and operated business for three generations. I have been a chef for many years and one year I wanted to make my mom a special cake for Mother’s Day. Her favorite flower is hydrangea, so I attempted to make a cake that looked like a hydrangea. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it was going to. After posting it, I had many friends and family reach out for me to bake them a custom cake. Finally in 2022 I decided to create Katie’s Kakes and received my LLC. I love being in the kitchen and creating something beautiful and tasty for any wedding! I love what I do!
