“Whipped Bakeshop was wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning process. We collaborated on a really thoughtful, creative design that reflected our love of travel and our new home city. About three weeks before the wedding, we decided to pare our original design back and simplify a few elements, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or gracious about the change. The final cake was elegant, intentional, and beautifully executed — it fit the day perfectly and got so many compliments from our guests. The cake itself was soo good and exactly what we hoped for, with the chocolate and red velvet tiers being crowd favorites. About a week before the wedding we started thinking we wouldn’t have enough cake so they added on three cookie cakes, which were incredible and disappeared almost immediately. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and professionalism made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free, and we’re so glad we chose them for such an important part of our wedding.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. “Abby was very professional. Responsive, provided clear expectations given we were on a tight timeframe of what needed to happen and what was feasible. She listened to my goal for a wedding vibe and my style and also was transparent about her style and capabilities and we found the the perfect design that married the two. She provides a sketch so there are no surprises. The cake was amazingly beautiful. It was bold, unique and luxurious. She is a true artist!!! And most of all it was delicious. “Hippie Bakez was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. They got back to us in plenty of time with all the details we needed, and the quality of their work was incredible. In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “I would definitely recommend my sugar wishes especially if you have a food sensitivity. Connie is very easy to work with and a great experience overall. I ended up having two complimentary Cake tastings with her, at the first meeting I expressed interest in two flavors that she did not have prepared gluten-free at the time So we did a second tasting and she made them GF I also brought some of my floral with me and we were able to confirm the floral display for the cake, which took a lot of stress off me the day of my wedding since I did not have to worry about my wedding cake.”

“We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding baker! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The tasting experience was super easy and stunning. Our traditional tiered cake was stunning, elegant, beautifully crafted, and topped with sugar flowers that were so realistic that I genuinely thought they were fake at first. The level of detail and artistry was beyond anything we imagined. I had tears in my eyes when I saw her bring in the cake. What truly set our baker apart, though, was her willingness to take on something completely unique. We asked for a “bleeding armadillo” cake inspired by Steel Magnolias (not exactly a typical wedding request but if you know, you know) and even though she wasn’t familiar with it, she absolutely nailed it! Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also delicious and a huge hit with our guests. After the tasting, we requested that the red velvet be a little darker for the effect of the bleeding armadillo from the movie. Again, she surpassed our expectations. Her creativity, skill, and dedication made our wedding desserts are truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver both classic elegance and fun, personalized designs, we wholeheartedly recommend her! “Valerie was lovely to work with and made our wedding day so special! She was easy to communicate with, responding quickly to any questions and concerns we had as we planned. She often offers tasting packs, which allowed us to try a variety of flavors prior to making our final choices. She has a few display options available to rent as well, which made our lives easier because we didn’t need to purchase and manage cupcake stands, etc. She delivered the cupcakes to the venue the day of our wedding and, since we were outdoors and it was quite warm, instructed my family on the best ways to display/proper timing for taking them out of the fridge. I didn’t even know she was there! She asked for another point person to connect with and handled all of it on her own which was very helpful. All of that, and the cupcakes were incredible! She also offers cutting cakes if that is something of interest. We’d highly recommend her for your wedding!”

“Lauren is the best! Her process is so seamless which is very helpful with crazy wedding planning. We started with a small cake tasting with a few different flavors, buttercreams, and a filling. We were able to take it to-go and enjoy the cake tasting together at home! We ended up choosing vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I sent her an inspo picture of what I was going for as far as cake detailing and floral placement. My wedding cake came out just like the picture! Not only is she detail oriented but her cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!! She truly is amazing and brought my dream wedding cake to life. We also had a few dozen of her delicious cupcakes as well. We went with chocolate and coconut and they turned out to be a big hit at the wedding. Thank you again Lauren!!3”

“It is truly an understatement to say I love cake. It is actually my weakness! So when I was searching for a bakery or baker to make my wedding cake, I really wanted to make sure I was not only going to love the look and taste of it but also choose someone that is actually passionate about it. I reached out to so many places and no one responded so kindly and promptly like Natasha. It is no doubt that her work is impeccable (what you see in pictures does not do justice to how even MORE beautiful it is in person), but her communication throughout the process and commitment to executing your vision is incomparable to other bakeries and bakers. I had a very intimate/small wedding (15 people), and other bakers made me feel like my event wasn't worth their time and effort to make, but Natasha was so sweet and kind - made me feel like she genuinely wanted to make our day special. I especially loved that she offered a cake tasting for us even though we were only ordering a small 2-Tier cake. Other bakers refused to do a tasting unless I was intending to spend over 700. All of the flavors she offered were SOOOOO good! It was tough to choose one but we are beyond satisfied with the berry shortcake flavor Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by the cake. So clean, chic and timeless. She truly executed my vision from just the one inspiration picture. Unfortunately I did not get any clear pictures of the cake due to the dim lighting in the restaurant . My guests were also amazed how moist and tasty it was too (make sure to follow her recommendation to serve cake at room temperature to enjoy at its full potential). You can really feel the love, time and effort she puts into her work!!! A TRUE TALENT. She was very honest and reasonable when it came to pricing as well! I definitely plan to work with her again for future events”

“Cami was excellent to work woth! She communicated clearly and responded timely. She was accommodating to my schedule and made me feel comfortable planing everything from a different state. She was very helpful in planning for serving sizes and delivery and answered all questions I sent her way. We did a cake tasting and were blown away with every sample! She set up the display beautifully! We received so many compliments on the cake (vanilla/bavarian cream/fresh strawberries) and cupcakes (s’mores) by both kids and adults! Can’t thank her enough!”

“I was upstaged by a cake, but hey, it was totally worth it because our wedding cake was an absolute showstopper. Guests LOVED it! Juries baked a stunning masterpiece that was almost too gorgeous to eat (but we’re so glad we did!). Her fondant flowers were each a true work of art. Honestly, cutting into it felt wrong… art shouldn’t be edible, and yet we ate it up!! We ordered a bunch of other desserts for our after-party, and they disappeared before we could even reach the table! But I heard they were delicious! Just be aware that if you order from Juries, your guests will eat everything!”
