I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by weddings and events. My family owns an event venue there still. I took a detour and played professional golf for a number of years before A. Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. I am in love with the process of learning, practicing and executing new and fun techniques on my clients’ cakes. More than that, creating a cake for someone’s special day gives me the most warm feeling. It’s truly why I do what I do.

I have extremely high expectations of myself and work towards perfection. I want my cakes to look as close to flawless as I can get them. The result is a wedding cake that is fit for your wedding album as a piece of art. It wows your guests while also tasting amazing!

    Best Cake Ever!

    We absolutely loved our theee tier wedding cake and we got rave reviews from our guests. Our cake was served as dessert at the reception and then the top tier was served at the next day family brunch. Not a piece was left over and everyone loved the flavors. Our anniversary mini cake is already on order for 2027 and we can’t wait to eat another amazing cake from A Bakes.

    Great all around

    Armana really delivers an incredible experience all around. Her cake tastings are a great example of the quality and flavors you can expect on the wedding day. The time she spends reviewing the options with couples feels intentional and thorough. She is a true artist and master of her craft! The cakes she creates are a work of art and something guests are actually excited to enjoy!

    Our wedding cake!

    I don’t think I have enough room here to right everything I’d love to say about armana and our wedding cake! Working with armana was so easy and she was very accommodating. During our cake tasting trial, we had custom ideas we wanted and she accommodated us to do a second cake tasting. My fiance and I were all over the place with the designs we had thought of and she was beyond patient with us and made the most beautiful mock ups to make our visions come to life. Armana doesn’t just crate cake, she creates literal art. We settled for her signature churro cake but with almond frangipane filling (like the inside of a croissant) and our guests RAVED about it. It’s the most delicious cake I’ve ever had. I really hope we get to work with Armana again. Thank you thank you!!

    Beautiful Cake & Unique Flavors!

    Our cake baker did such an amazing job! The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted just as incredible as it looked. She offered unique flavor options that were a big hit with our guests. She was also very responsive and so kind throughout the entire process, making everything easy and stress-free. We couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out and would highly recommend her!
