“In July 2024, we had our wedding reception at Lucky 8 Ranch, and we can't say enough good things about our experience! When we first toured the venue shortly after getting engaged, we immediately knew that this would be our dream wedding location. We toured other venues in the greater Steamboat area too, but Lucky 8 stood out to us. Not only is the ranch absolutely stunning, but the folks who work there are very kind, caring, and hardworking. This proved to be the case even more-so as Nick offered a great deal of hand-holding throughout the entire planning process, and went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. My family primarily traveled from the NJ/NY area, and my husband's from ND, SD, MN and NE. We really wanted to offer our guests a Western experience, and the stunning mountain views, beautifully decorated tent, and even an unexpected afternoon thunderstorm (which was handled so gracefully by Nick and his staff!) was the perfect way to show our guests what Colorado is all about. “Tammy & The FDR crew are absolutely incredible! This was hands down the most beautiful and breathtaking Mountain property! The venue boasts impeccably maintained landscaping/flowers, 2 ceremony site options (Aspen Grove View or Mountain View), a large white reception tent with dance floor, vendor/catering tents, on site bathrooms, a cabin for bridal party to get ready in -- and all within a comfortable 15min proximity to town which was amazing for our 200 guests! The FDR team was accommodating, friendly, and a joy to work with making our special day really personal and fun!!
