Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The Hummingbird Chateau is a must see! - You’ll fall in love just like we did :)

I love The Barn at Blackstone National! Their outdoor pavillion is a gorgeous setting for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hours, rain or shine! This pavillion overlooks beautiful greenery, and in the autumn months the foliage creates a gorgeous backdrop. The outdoor fire pits make it even cozier at night time. Their indoor reception area is a beautifully built barn with delicious food & a spacious dance floor. Their event coordinator & wait staff are always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this venue!

Our sister found this place and did a virtual tour and from the very first moment we saw Lauxmont Farms, we knew this place was special, but what we experienced exceeded every expectation we had. The venue is undeniably breathtaking, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and genuinely invested in our day. The decorator went above and beyond in ways I’ll never forget, hanging décor from the tent ceiling and making our vision come to life with such care. Our day-of coordinator, Ally, and our attendant, Brandon, were incredible. They were attentive, calm, thoughtful, and detail oriented in every possible way. From our first visit to our final moments on the property on our wedding day, we felt supported, cared for, and truly celebrated. I have nothing but incredible things to say about Dulany's! The owner and staff are all wonderful people and were so easy to work with, the venue is spacious and gorgeous, and the mountainous backdrop for our ceremony was more beautiful than I had even hoped for. Some huge selling points for us for the venue were it being pet friendly (this was a non-negotiable), including a day-of wedding coordinator (shout out Tammy!!), having a lot of freedom with the vendors we selected, a huge area for both the bridal party and groomsmen to hang out/get ready, an arch ready to be decorated, easy parking, and a golf cart for getting my elderly relatives around. It was truly a dream wedding and venue and I would recommend it to ANYONE!

This review has taken forever to write because there are so many wonderful things we want to say about Historic Ashland. When we first started venue hunting, we spent so much time trying to simply get responses to tour requests. We live over an hour from Wrightsville, and my mother lives two hours away, so trying to schedule a tour without being ignored for days by a venue was starting to seem nearly impossible. When we came across HA, we crossed our fingers and sent a message. We got a response before I could even lock my phone, and a tour scheduled in less than 5 minutes. And that basically describes how the rest of wedding planning went for us thanks to their detailed planning guide, which includes a list of preferred vendors, a rental guide for decorations, a timeline for the wedding day, and more. Leah and Amanda always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. From that moment until our wedding day in October 2024, we knew we were in good hands and couldn’t go wrong with the rest of the decisions we had to make. The property itself is stunning, and it was so nice to have various locations to utilize, from getting ready to all the different ceremony locations. Really our hardest decision was where to have the ceremony. We truly have HA to thank for our wedding planning process being so smooth. The entire HA team went above and beyond to make our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. You hear nightmares about how something always goes wrong on a wedding day. The HA team handled absolutely everything for us. All we had to do was show up. Not one thing went wrong. We still have guests texting us to talk about how beautiful the entire day was. Everything was perfect and we cannot thank Leah, Amanda, and the entire team enough. I will recommend this venue to anyone that wants to listen. I hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as a guest. Not that we need an excuse to go back because Leah is such a gem.

Walker's Overlook is a hidden gem and was the perfect venue for our October wedding! The ceremony area is absolutely gorgeous and provides an incredible backdrop for photos, while the reception tent offers a cozy, rustic vibe complete with wood floors and string lights. The owners, Mark and David, are the best. They are both super hands-on and were great to communicate with throughout the whole process. Mark checked in on us regularly during the year leading up to our wedding and made sure we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. One of the best things about Walker's is that they provide an in-house wedding coordinator, so we didn't need to hire a separate planner. Our coordinator, Tammy, was INCREDIBLE -- she knows the industry inside and out and made our wedding day completely seamless and stress-free. Walker's Overlook truly provided the venue of our dreams and I can't recommend them enough!

If you are searching for somewhere to have the perfect outdoor wedding, look no further than Comus Farm. Lauren and Kara truly pulled out all the stops to make our wedding day unforgettable! In 2023, my husband and I were looking for wedding venues: we were very specifically looking for someplace that would not require a lot of decoration work, since we were planning the whole event ourselves. As soon as my husband and I arrived at Comus Farm, I said “this is it, I want to book this place.” The farm is located in pleasant countryside, and the farm itself has a very beautiful entrance through trees and sunny fields: many of our guests commented on how this made the drive from the off-site ceremony to the reception at the farm very enjoyable. We toured the rose garden, outdoor dining and dancing pavilions, and the large barn, all of which are airy and open, making it feel very welcoming. The farmhouse Airbnb was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Lauren and Kara were both so kind, and they provided a lot of information with us in our first meeting: we signed the contract about a week after seeing the place. Lauren and Kara used AislePlanner to help us get going with our wedding planning. The website is easy to use, and the provided checklist covered literally every single tiny detail you could possibly need to consider for the planning journey. I was especially pleased with the seating chart map, it made it so easy for us to track guest meals, stage table set up, and communicate special requests. It also prints out the layout really nicely if you need to send it to your catering company. Our wedding party stayed at the farmhouse Airbnb the night before and after the wedding. Everyone had a really fantastic time, there was more than enough space for the girls to get ready in the AM, and the food provided was delicious! During the reception, my grandparents enjoyed their dinner in the kitchen so they could get some quiet time and rest, but they were still close enough to the wedding so they could say hello to the guests and listen to the speeches happening in the dinner pavilion. I also cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Lauren and Kara’s thoughtfulness throughout the planning process and on the day. They patiently answered so many of our questions, and they allowed us to come by three separate times to see the farm and meet with our vendors. They coordinated the vendors without a hitch, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. Kara drove the two of us and our photographer out to more remote areas on the farm to get some portrait shots. Lauren coordinated some fun photos with the alpacas, which was a lot of fun! Comus Farm is truly a beautiful spot to have a wedding, complete with a team that made our day perfectly stress-free. I’ll definitely be looking for any other reason to book with them in the future :)

We hosted our wedding reception at Rocklands Farm and I was so happy with the experience! The barn has a rustic elegant ambiance and the surrounding farm and winery is picturesque. Their “corn crib” was ideal for appetizers and a fire pit while guests arrived before being seated, and a bonfire made a great outdoor space for a November wedding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They worked seamlessly with the caterer Simply Fresh and our cake maker. Their day-of coordinator was great, keeping the timeline on schedule effortlessly. This was something I was very stressed about so having it go so smoothly was huge for me. Our photographer Jonalee Earles was able to set up lights etc. ahead of time. One unique aspect was the variety of table decor and signage provided, which I was able to look through and select ahead of time and which fit the ambiance beautifully. It looked amazing and took the pressure off us to bring our own decor. Rocklands made our wedding day truly special. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stress-free, gorgeous venue with great staff!

Ryan and I got married at The View on April 21st, 2024. Dawn, Brian, and Ginger were top notch! We felt heard and valued and the venue was beautiful. It fit us because it was modern, but it was seated on beautiful Lancaster County farmland. We loved the Pennsy Lounge to hangout in and Gordon Hall for the ceremony. We had the BEST experience with having our wedding here. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and there are so many great options for ceremony spaces. It is also the perfect venue for any type of weather - rain or shine there is no stressing about your wedding day. The getting ready bridal suite was so spacious and beautiful. Dawn and Brian are the nicest people and their staff was exceptional. Having the “prop shop” is such a plus - we live out of state and didn’t have to worry about buying and bringing in all of our decor and furniture because it is all there for you! This venue is so organized with the planning process and know exactly how to make your day run smoothly. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property and landscaping was. Having their preferred vendors list was also so nice because each vendor already knew how to best set up for the space. Communication with each person at this venue is prompt and they truly want to help you make your day happen the way you want it to. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable.
