Established in 1969, the 50-acre parcel in Brunswick with nothing more than an old barn and a dream. The barn, originally built in 1869, became the foundation for a Ski Lodge, but would ultimately become the event center that it is today. Although many updates and renovations have taken place over the last 50 years the original barn remains intact, and its beams are still visible in the hall. Over the years Skyview Lodge has held countless events. The building was renovated again in 2001 to expand its capacity and continue building upon the success of the hall rentals. The farm, consisting of 135 acres has been in the family for 8 generations. Our farm was homesteaded in 1831 by David & Elizabeth Firestone. The bank barn was built in the mid-1800's. Ted, grandson of Chester & Ester Firestone, along with myself, have lived on the farm for the past 35 years.
