“My husband and I had our wedding on 11/01/2025 and I am just now getting around to writing reviews! Portia (sorry if I misspelled it!) was absolutely amazing! the tasting went wonderful and she was very professional! the cakes we wanted were not super crazy but she nailed every part of them! We did a 2 tier marble cake which was amazing, the groom's cake was a Georgia themed Football which was 1 part carrot cake and 1 part red velvet which left us speechless, and the absolute show stopper was the banana pudding cupcakes! Oh my gravy these were the talk of the night! All the cakes were so moist and rich but also decadent and tasted like happiness lol! In regards to Portia herself, I would have to say she is a pleasure to work with! I had at least 3,475 questions throughout the process and she was so patient and understanding and on time!! I would absolutely recommend Cake Me Away for anything you need! GO FOR THE BANANA PUDDING CUPCAKES!!”

Our guests loved them and even took some to go! Valerie made the whole process easy and was friendly and responded quickly to my emails. She offers a sampling of the mini cupcakes for purchase in order to trial the flavors, which I thought was such a great idea (and they were delicious)! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too. The entire dessert table turned out beautifully - everything looked so appetizing that guests actually started sampling the desserts before we had cut the cake!
