Constructive Feedback The only area for improvement is email response time. Before booking, I sometimes waited anxiously for replies to my questions near the quote deadline. After booking and connecting with my day-of artists, communication was smooth and timely. Bridal Trial During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day. Wedding Day! On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness. My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day. “I am not someone who wears make up or does my hair, so I was quite nervous about choosing a hair and make-up artist for my wedding. I made the right choice in choosing Beaute’ Beautique. Ilaria was a joy to work with before my wedding and on the day of. At the trial, Ilaria suggested adding more plum eyeshadow to make my blue eyes pop. Ilaria also did all of our 5 bridesmaids’ hair and makeup in record time. All my bridesmaids were impressed by how well she did from just the one or two pictures she showed them. They all loved their looks. Our day of coordinator was pleasantly surprised by how efficiently Ilaria worked her way through all six of us. “Betsey and her team were absolute stars from day one. In a few words, professional, hardworking, and experts. I trusted everything they had to say. I went in to my bridal makeup and hair trial having an idea of what I wanted, but no idea on how best to execute. Betsey took the reigns and worked with my skin to achieve an exceptional look. Her team was incredible with hair too! Giving feedback has always been a little challenging for me, but calling Betsey up a few months before the wedding to discuss some changes to make was no issue. She came prepared with blotting papers, energy, and all the equipment necessary to tame the whole crew - even the ones that wanted last minute lashes and lipstick and hadn't paid yet. Luminous Beauty was on time, set up and tore down efficiently, and were strategic in their timeline for applying things like lipstick to achieve maximum impact for photos. Sitting in their chairs was like sitting in your own little bubble with them. You feel like you're the only person in the room, and they treat you with so much kindness and consideration. My mother and mother in law were not prepared with their look, but with some targeted questions by Luminous Beauty, they were looking like their best selves and were all extremely happy with the outcome. Luminous Beauty also showed us all how to insert and remove my veil which was a little tricker than expected! But we did it and it was an absolute success!. Everyone looked incredible that day, and we owe it all to Betsey and Luminous Beauty. An incredible team.”

Working with her for our engagement photos and my wedding HMU trial, she took the time to ask detailed questions and fully understand what I wanted/the look I was going for. She was great at communicating and providing a safe space for me to give feedback on what I liked/didn’t like, took detailed notes and photos, and made sure I loved the final result. On the day of my wedding, she was such a calming presence and helped me through the roller coaster of emotions you have as you’re getting ready for your wedding. She made me feel comfortable, listened to feedback, and made sure I was completely happy with my final look. “Oh my god where do I begin?! She’s fantastic, the first time I had my makeup and hairstyle done with Astrid was for my civil wedding and I was in love with the result!!! Then I had her for some photo shoots, I wanted her for my destination wedding but unfortunately it was not possible to happen :') but after that she did my makeup and hair for pregnancy pictures, baby shower, family events, she IS THE BEST! “Andrea was an absolutely incredible makeup artist for my wedding. We had a beautiful winter day and we had A LOT of gals to get ready and Andrea was on top of everything. From the communication, to the trial, timelines, answering questions, giving recommendations & making sure every girl left her chair feeling their absolutely best, she was perfect! I have never looked better, and you'll see some incredible photos attached, as well. You can see that from the time I was finished getting my makeup done to portraits, indoor photos, outdoor photos, and beyond, my makeup stayed perfect. As someone who does basic makeup most days (a little concealer, mascara & eyebrows), I did not feel overdone, but absolutely felt like an elevated version of myself.
