“If I could describe my experience working with Amanda and the dessert selection she helped us pick in one word, I would say WOW! She truly is a master at her craft and the desserts did not disappoint! My now husband and I decided on a small two-tiered wedding cake with a wide variety of desserts, all which Amanda offered. From raspberry Linzer cookies and cannoli to key lime mousse cups and red velvet mini cupcakes, we had something that would appeal to every guest. Amanda even offers vegan options, which was great for our guests with dietary restrictions. And let me say that we received so many compliments on the dessert selections! My absolute favorite was the wedding cake though. One tier was lemon raspberry flavored, and the 2nd tier was strawberry passion fruit, AND the cake had delicious crunchy bites that added texture. We fortunately had leftover cake that we took with us and were able to enjoy with family the days following our wedding! Amanda is an absolute joy to work with and she puts in a lot of thought and effort into her craft! “I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

“Sweetened Memories is a wonderful bakery. We ordered a two tier cake for us and 8 dozen custom cupcakes for our guests. “We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding baker! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The tasting experience was super easy and stunning. Our traditional tiered cake was stunning, elegant, beautifully crafted, and topped with sugar flowers that were so realistic that I genuinely thought they were fake at first. The level of detail and artistry was beyond anything we imagined. I had tears in my eyes when I saw her bring in the cake. What truly set our baker apart, though, was her willingness to take on something completely unique. We asked for a “bleeding armadillo” cake inspired by Steel Magnolias (not exactly a typical wedding request but if you know, you know) and even though she wasn’t familiar with it, she absolutely nailed it! Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also delicious and a huge hit with our guests. After the tasting, we requested that the red velvet be a little darker for the effect of the bleeding armadillo from the movie. Again, she surpassed our expectations. Her creativity, skill, and dedication made our wedding desserts are truly unforgettable. “It is truly an understatement to say I love cake. It is actually my weakness! So when I was searching for a bakery or baker to make my wedding cake, I really wanted to make sure I was not only going to love the look and taste of it but also choose someone that is actually passionate about it. I reached out to so many places and no one responded so kindly and promptly like Natasha. It is no doubt that her work is impeccable (what you see in pictures does not do justice to how even MORE beautiful it is in person), but her communication throughout the process and commitment to executing your vision is incomparable to other bakeries and bakers. I had a very intimate/small wedding (15 people), and other bakers made me feel like my event wasn't worth their time and effort to make, but Natasha was so sweet and kind - made me feel like she genuinely wanted to make our day special. I especially loved that she offered a cake tasting for us even though we were only ordering a small 2-Tier cake. Other bakers refused to do a tasting unless I was intending to spend over 700. All of the flavors she offered were SOOOOO good! It was tough to choose one but we are beyond satisfied with the berry shortcake flavor Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by the cake. So clean, chic and timeless. She truly executed my vision from just the one inspiration picture. Unfortunately I did not get any clear pictures of the cake due to the dim lighting in the restaurant . My guests were also amazed how moist and tasty it was too (make sure to follow her recommendation to serve cake at room temperature to enjoy at its full potential). You can really feel the love, time and effort she puts into her work!!! A TRUE TALENT. She was very honest and reasonable when it came to pricing as well! She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

Juries baked a stunning masterpiece that was almost too gorgeous to eat (but we’re so glad we did!). Her fondant flowers were each a true work of art. Honestly, cutting into it felt wrong… art shouldn’t be edible, and yet we ate it up!! We ordered a bunch of other desserts for our after-party, and they disappeared before we could even reach the table! But I heard they were delicious! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. “I discovered Kaly’s Cakes and Bakes on Instagram while searching for a vintage-style cutting cake. From the beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. Her exceptional talent and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. We also appreciated her ability to deliver the cake to the venue, which made our planning much easier. Even though it was a cutting cake, we did have our closest family try some.
