The 78-acre Civil War Ranch in Carthage, MO, has more than 50 acres of beautiful pasture, wetlands and wooded terrain to explore.

Under the Woods Event Center was created when our eldest son and future daughter-in-law were searching for a location wedding. Our family realized we had the perfect location and beautiful acreage on our rolling Ozark hills to build a gorgeous event venue that would be perfect for their fit event and many future events. We designed a climate controlled barn conveniently located on Highway 71 in Jane, Missouri, one mile north of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Not everyone has the same taste or style, so we are happy to offer you three different options to choose from, all beautifully unique in their own ways.

The heart of this estate is its large ranch-style barn structure. Characterized by its stonework exterior, it features large doors crafted from caramel-toned wood. Inside, you will find get-ready suites where you can prepare for your special day in total tranquility. The barn is situated right by a lake where you can hold a charming outdoor ceremony. Exchange your vows against a backdrop of forestry and still waters, making for a beautiful snapshot of the moment you say, “I do”. Alternatively, you can choose to hold your service inside the barn itself. At its very heart is a spacious event hall, ideal to host both your ceremony and reception. A glass wall makes up the back of the building, allowing natural light to set your event aglow. Nods to its pastoral style can be found in the exposed beams and trusses. The Lenon’s personal touches such as the handcrafted chandelier and modern barn doors confirm that this is certainly a place where loved ones come together.

Welcome to our beautiful venue! Venue 105 was newly built in 2021. We have over 5500 sq ft of under roof space with a luxury lodge like feel (climate controlled). We also have a bridal suite, grooms' room and caterer's kitchen for your use. Our outdoor ceremony area is under a beautiful canopy of mature oak trees with rustic bench seating for 200 plus guests. All areas are handicap accessible. We do setup tables/chairs custom for your event, included in the cost!
