About this venue

The Emerald Event Centers are privately owned by The Szklarski Family. Hope and Joe run and operate the venues themselves and take care of each couple individually with extreme pride and gratitude. Each client who books is supporting small and helping contribute towards the dreams of two local entrepreneurs. We are sincerely thankful for each and every one of you who considers us for your venue! Our venues were built with you in mind. Not everyone has the same taste or style, so we are happy to offer you three different options to choose from, all beautifully unique in their own ways.

The Silver Spoon Barn

The Silver Spoon Barn opened in 2017 with the dream of creating a spacious event venue that would be the perfect place to get married.

The white walls and natural light make it a great place for photographers to capture your day. What makes this venue unique is it's two-room construction that can accommodate up to 600 people. One side of the venue is for the ceremony, then you can open the garage doors to enter your reception area. Up the stairs you can find two balconies, which are used for overflow seating, and the bride and groom suites.

The Sterling Event Center

The Sterling Event Center was the second venue on the property being finished in 2019.

Its modern architecture and industrial look stand out from other barn venues in the Southwest Missouri area. It has a two room construction that makes it a one-stop-shop for ceremonies and receptions up to 450 people. The bridal suite upstairs is the perfect place to get ready and relax on your day. Side balconies provide extra space for guests and lead to an outside deck that over looks the outdoor ceremony area with pergola and small pond in the background.

The Platinum Pavilion

If you're looking for an outdoor venue with stunning rustic features on private land, look no further!

This beautiful building, brand new - built in 2023, is ready to host your perfect event! From a gorgeous outdoor wedding to celebrating an intimate shower or party with friends and family, this is the place for you! Our outdoor venue can hold up to 125-150 guests under the pavilion and up to 200 by the water for your ceremony. We have getting ready suites indoors for both the bride + groom, bathrooms for your guests, a warming kitchen, and more!
