“The Lodges at Gettysburg was a beautiful, magical place to host our wedding! From the get-go, Beth Senseney was wanting to help make our dreams a reality. She answered ALL of my many questions throughout the wedding process, and is very good at her job. It was very convenient to have everything on property, from ceremony-reception to the afterparty. The bridal suite is gorgeous, and our day-of coordinator, Matia, was phenomenal. She’s on top of everything, and quick to resolve little issues, like when a bridesmaid didn’t have a chair. Matia was even down by the ceremony site fanning me before I walked down the aisle, because I was crying- it was such a wonderful day, and all of our guests kept saying how much they enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and the champagne was amazing. Coming back to our lodge at the end of the evening, we found cupcakes and extra food from the reception in our mini fridge, and couldn’t help but smile. While it was an expensive choice of venue/food, as the food is required to come from the Lodges, you get what you pay for. There was a miscommunication with the welcome bags, and the front desk employee did not seem to enjoy her job, but we figured it out (thank you!). Thank you, Beth, Matia, and the team, for helping us have the best day, ever!”
